Gaming blog in 2020 will work?

For beginning I'm going to target a specific genre of games and solve queries related to it. I know a little bit of seo. But I don't know how to find keywords. So maybe I will have to cover the entire game. Do you think it will be a success and I could earn from it someday? I don't want instant success but maybe in 2 or 3 years. Share your opinions. Thank you

Yes, the industry is getting popular day by day. For example PUBG is popular as of now in India. You can write blogs on how to complete a RP (Royal Pass) task on your blog. People actually look at this.

i think affiliate marketing niche website or authority website will be good for you
 
All such blogs will work but you have to give consistent effort on the blogs.
 
Gaming niche is good, but it is very competitive and it takes your time and effort to make it profitable.
 
My suggestion, like you stated, is sticking to one genre type of a game (FPS, Battle Royals, RTS, etc.)

There's always a possibility to earn in any niche.

Gaming niche is always hot, hence the competition is very high.
