I bet that at least one time you searched something IM related on YT one of those popped up in add
One guy coffeezilla (no promo just related to thread if you want check) is making like podcast with some of "ex-students" who some spent 3k for online curses with those "gurus"(and usually all they tell them that they don´t just work hard enough or they need to buy more courses, spent more money and be patient... Well what the fuck ? :D ) Some saved that money whole life and believed that they will be making money, some of them even quit jobs for it ... But on the other hand , everyone should be careful what they buy on internet and of course its everyone responsibility !
Its completely LEGAL SCAM isnt it ?! As soon you don´t promise something you cant deliver you fine ! They usually sell courses like "i will teach you how to make money online" which can be anything ... its nothing exact like "SEO course" "Html Course" "brand building course" etc...
There is so much money in this because SO MUCH people have internet and search for terms "how to make money online"70-90% of them have very little knowledge and believe anything...
...Even my older friend who don´t have much knowledge about the internet got scammed , not like this but for bitcoins. He had like 700€ in BTC in 2014 (Some of you know how much would it be today...) But after that scam he completely banished not only crypto but whole IM.

I bet no one from BHW believe in those "guru" bullshits haha,
Is there anyone doing something similiar? Im curious how OP this can be when did right and HQ.

We have a lot of tai lopez fans here so be careful :)

I have Tai Lopez to thank for being in this industry. I had looked into this several years before but forgot about it. Then Tai peaked my interest with his Social media marketing agency I never took his course but his videos gave me ideas and started a marketing agency a year later.

Tai Lopez, Grant Cardone, Alex Becker - I forgot some other names. :)

Oh, you'd be surprised.
Sad with all of those resources you got here free.
Didnt even read 10 % of my saved threads.
Not only here but everywhere ehen you know how search

There are some people with good courses, however you can count them on one hand and i'd say 95% of those people that are in this field are just blatant scammers or fraudster. Not saying that their course does not provide any value but more in the sense of that they have made their numbers up :

"Earn XXX$ per day with this Social Media Marketing System"
"How i went from XX$ to X,XXX$ a day"
"Do you want to be financially free? Get my free eBook..."

In Germany we have one person that's named "Karl Ess" and he is probably one of the most notorious fraudsters out there, he basically lures the people into buying his course and then feeds them with a MLM Marketing Scheme. What you see are some sad fucks that paid XXX$ for his scheme and they have made their "own" Instagram explaining how you can be sucessful. Really? Do i really have to listen to a 17 year old kid that bought his scheme how to market yourself and make a lot of money? No fucking way.

__________

The problem is just that there will be always a market for this. People are lazy, they don't wanna work 1 year without any money, they wanna get the money right away, that's why they buy things like this. Because they believe in bullshit. These are also the people that make 100$ and then spend it right away on some expensive shoes or something rather than investing it to make even more money. Unfortunately, without going through some struggle in your life you will probably never make it out of the hamsterwheel.

Can we just say that the awareness is increasing due to such YT videos and the guru market is somewhat competitive now or is it the same old thing?

Both, recently i've seen a FB Ad from a 13 year old kid from Germany that was running a scheme like this as well. I was thinking to myself "WTF, how can someone believe this kid?", and it was true, most of the people were making fun of him in the comments, but there will still be always people that fall for it.

The market is competitive because it's somewhat easy money (You hire a ghostwrite, tell him to rewrite a Guru Book for you, there you have your "eBook" > Remarket it and claim to be a millionaire) - Also, the internet grows everyday so there will be always people making content, and people that will fall for it. But it definitely grows with time.

So you mean it grows as there are lot of people coming on the internet and joining these programs right?

You talked about the 13 yr old kid from Germany lol I too had outed a guy like a week ago basically an 8 yr old school going kid and for God knows he was promising 1k in 90 days which is absolutely rubbish, he can get into legal trouble due to his age but look what the gurus have done, the kids confidence was really good and if trained by an honest guy he could go a long way

I too felt pity to call him out as he will get trolled badly but the thing is he was trolled pretty badly before I posted so he had to lock his fb profile

Yeah, both actually. Because people join it and because its easy money. And i agree with you, some of these people just forget one thing when they pull off something like this and its called : Reputation. - Because when you get called out (and at some point you will be called out, see Tai Lopez for example), then your reputation is gone and probably will be gone for the next couple of years.

I had a blog for IM beginners 2-3 years ago also in German, in a post I told about a city guide page on Facebook that I had created(maybe with 20 Posts in it). In the following 2 weeks I received over 50 emails asking if I would sell it.

After some time one offer was really to big to say no and i sold this FB Page.
Sometimes I visit the FB page and it still only has these 20 posts :)

I think you can make as an experienced Internet Marketer with some proofs really nice cash with selling tutorials and courses. Maybe one day i´ll give it a try but i think i´m to lazy for it.
