Google faces $5 billion lawsuit for tracking people in incognito mode- Cnet.com
Google faces a proposed class action lawsuit that accuses the tech giant of invading people's privacy and tracking internet use even when browsers are set to "private" mode. The suit, filed Tuesday in the US District Court for the Northern District of California, alleges that Google violates wiretapping and privacy laws by continuing to "intercept, track, and collect communications" even when people use Chrome's incognito mode and other private web browser modes.

The lawsuits for them are as common as sand in the desert. They justify it saying that it's in their ToS as usual. It'd be only worth considering if the court orders them to pay the money.

Google and Facebook dont give a damn about your privacy and laws. They got the best lawyer to stretch these cases. You really care for privacy stop using them or create your copy to use them.
Your copy? Cuz now these days you can't live without them

it's small for google, if they even lose

How do we know they aren't still stealing our information

Hey at least they dont know your IP. Its better to use incognito with VPN than without it. And i didnt said that they cant steal your informations.

But that's why google is being sued not ip stealing......that's the point

So much good news about tech platforms getting fingered recently. Doubt much of it will actually come to fruition though.
