Is EPN DEAD???

you guys who are saying you have hundreds of clicks in a day but no income, maybe htat's because the auctions don't end until a few days later? you only get paid after the auction is over, right?

Question 2:
Where do your BANS place on the SERPs? Is your traffic primarily search engine traffic or driven from elsewhere?

I have watched the traffic, and some of them do end a couple of days later, my example wasn't for the same day, just to show the range. A couple of days have shown no income, but when looking at the transaction log, the auction closes a couple of days later.

I have also seen unrelated items that have sold and I got a commission for them.

My traffic is primarily from the search engines. Some sites get a lot from Google and a couple from Yahoo/MSN.

I have also bought about 10 preowned, aged domains for some of the BANS sites and those seem to do a lot better. I look at the prior history of what was on that site and match it up with the ebay cat. id.

well i had 350 clicks one day and no income , and in two days i had only 50 clicks and about $8.00 income so that could be it.

most of my traffic come from ref / social sites.

thanks guys. so it sounds like just relying on search engines might not cut it for a bans site...

does it matter if the bans sites have .info extensions or that play a be factor also?

EPN has been fantastic for me so far. The clicks are all over the place (they say it's bots over at EPN) but I'm making a consistent, decent income from them without CSing. I wonder if I could take that to the next level with a little CS magic... :)

Have you by chance set your affiliate links from E*P*N with custom campaigns? I did this and didn't record a single profit for almost two weeks, then I read that all custom campaigns have to be approved first. So I switched all of my links back to default and commissions started showing up almost immediately.

I suggest if anyone is using custom campaigns (which I did just to track different programs) to just switch back into the default campaign.

Hope this makes sense and helps.

I have about 40 BANS sites so far now. I agree with mightbh that it seems to be very hit or miss with the tracking and reporting. One day I had 599 clicks, but only about $5.00 or so in income. Not quite sure if that is right (me thinks NOT!).

Another issue I have seen is when the new signups are reported, so far with EPN I am only showing two in two months. With CJ, I had over 6 of them within the same time period.

I with ya mightbh that a safe and effective CS campaign would probably help, only if those people just visit the site and clickout and are already eBay members.

Any thoughts on that anyone?

well i just started a new campaign with adwords that drove 800 unique ebay targeted users to my EPN cookie stuffing page so ill see how that converts. -.-

so far EPN hasn't been converting as well as before.

also a quick question how long does it take EPN to update there daily stats?

You right it takes time for the conversion..

I have seen the EPN updates showing up for clicks within an hour or two. As for the actual results from the day before, it usually updates between 3pm and 8pm EST (I live in Kentucky USA).

I am using a campaign for each BANS site that I create and it seems to be ok, as best as I can tell. I am using Statcounter.com for my stats and everything so far seems to be in close agreement with impressions/visits.

Most of my traffic is from the search engines, and that is what is converting the best for me. I have been checking on what people are buying, and I can tell you that I am seeing some results also from some of the cookies (7 day) that are placed as people are buying other items and I am getting commissions on them as well.

its official epn isn't dead i just got some great results from my new cookie stuffing campaign.

about $70 for the first day of it ...

i can get a screen if someone doesn't believe me...

My second day with EPN I made $200+, so I never really doubted EPN. I'm just worried about staying under the radar!

Eventually I am going to try to shoot for $1000 a day (with the help of paid advertising of course).

I put up an auction to test the CS on the auction and it seems to be the way to go if you have something to sell :-) After just a 10 day auction I had 114 clicks and made almost $5 WOOOOO
Not as good as when they were with CJ

I'm having no problems with the custom campaigns. I have about 30 of them and have earnings under all of them except the default campaign.
