Journey towards setting up a freelancer website

This journey is actually tough and I am actually putting in all I've got to make it a succes$.

I am trying to create something like, upwork, freelancer, fiverr, and every other freelacing network.

I already have a developer as a partner in this, so it's a double headed spear journey

What we have done so far:
1. We already have a domain name(which I will drop soon on this thread) connected to VPS hosting for 2 years and the also running the site with a premium WordPress theme for the purpose.
2. Created many writeups as regards to certain pages(not optimized and still creating more contents)
3. Setup payment gateways including VCC and PayPal as option
4. Created twitter social account only.
5. Still testing many plugins to get very familiar with them to avoid messing up things.
6. Escrow monitization

What we may still have to done:
1. Advert
2. Build links
3. Create an app
4. Create an affiliate


I know BHW Members are very resourceful, any Idea/suggestions to make this journey a success will be appreciated.

How best can I make the site popular without spending much?(I mean getting sufficient clients to post jobs so that Freelancers will always be engaged)


I will only post spendings
1. Vps - 265$
2. Theme - 59$
3. Logo design - 5$
4. Domain name - 9$

Total - 338$

Note: I also have 2 projects I'm running concurrently with this.

If you want to build a brand especially for a freelancing website, you should consider doing a custom code, and not rely on Wordpress. Second, freelancers will be engaged if they can trust the clients. So you should be the missing key in this chain.

1. Creating a custom code will be very tudious and will require a lot of time, meanwhile I have a developer as a partner, if there are needs for custom codes, I figure it out and he does the coding.

2. Of course we release payments to Freelancers immediately client marks the project as done, we only benefit from escrow percentage (5%) and package upgrade, no other means of monitization.
