IG DM limit in 2020

Anyone know what the threshold is to not get banned? We were doing 20/day and firing them off one after the other with no delay. Now we got banned for a few weeks. Anyone know what a good threshold is for DMing? This is a larger account with a lot of age.

I realize it's a lot until they realize or you get reported a few times.

I sent like 200-300 in one go (drip fed every like 30-60 minutes) and it all went through and I was never banned.

Then this other time I was manually contacting people I got that soft ban for a few days after 10-20 people
 
It’s fine unless you have a custom script or something.

Were your accounts only temporarily banned or just cannot send dm’s?

temporarily banned from sending more DMs. Account is still up and live though otherwise.

You actually got banned for weeks! Wow I have only received warnings. Were you doing them manually?
 
(In case contacting person who is not following you and you are not following them either)
Here is what I found after weeks of hustle.
20-25 msgs in 24 hours with 1.5-2 hours gap in between 5 msgs, also Send messages really slow with 2-3 minutes gap. Give a rest after two days of work. And you will never get any ban or even warning ever!
 
There is a limit when you are the first one sending DM. Maybe can try Slave account send the DM first and ask the recipient to DM your main account.

Oh yes. Ineed it is web based, I tried it.
 
I too have checked more accounts got banned, try commenting than DM for a few weeks. Also, IG has not showing liked people if you're mutual followers.
