Is movie reuploading still worth it in 2020?

Of course, personally, I'm not losing sight of that. Who wants unnecessary troubles for himself? A while ago, a guy shared a method here that describes the method you're talking about. So, not ignorant at all about that, and would likely take that route if I choose to enter the movie streaming niche.

Literally just be the middle man, if they are really after the movie, then click a fake video placeholder linked to an actual site they will still be happy, you'll still make money and you'll still be safe.

I mean unlike Amazon affiliate sites or niche sites out there, a lot of movies sites are regularly being taken down because of copyright strike. So, I think movie streaming business is not as saturated as other niche.

it's a big risk to be honest but if you are willing to take risk then why not? it's all about weighing those risk and rewards, if it's worth then go for it especially during covid lockdown when everyone is at home and 90% of them are watching movies and TV shows 24/7

I'd set up my site exactly like a streaming site that actually hosts movies.

I'd have an image of a media player that looked like it had the movie ready to play from the start so no picture of the actual movie, it would be for instance the 20th century fox image that comes on at the start before the movie.

There would be a play button image in the middle, however this image would basically be one big button linked to an ad like adfly or something which when clicked would send the user to an actual streaming site that hosts the movie.

I'd have a disclaimer at the bottom of every page saying you do not host any video files and simply act as a link between searching and streaming sites.

I've seen many site upload movies on their site everyday, there's this one that's popular in the last few years, you can ind almost any series on this site, and nothing has happened to the site, this site already existed since 2013
