Do Indians have around $1-2k USD?

You should be asking yourself first - can someone make $1-2k by buying my $1-2k couching ?
If yes you can do a money back grantee , no questions asked.

Okay guys listen up,
I am Indian. Living in Munbaj
I have a bachelor's degree in Advertising
a Masters degree in Commerce
And a post graduate diploma in International business management

What is the total I have spent on my education for THREE DEGREES?
1500$ IN TOTAL.

That's how cheap education in India is.

However, I am also an entrepreneur and spend around 2000$ per year on marketing.

I take one international trip with my family of 7 every year but do not own a car because it's a pain in the Ass to own one in Mumbai ( traffic and parking is a bitch)

I am considered upper middle class.

Here, if you need more info on demographics, let me know

I know it's a bit of a general question but I want to feel out how much Indians can pay for something like a coaching.

Can Indians afford to pay $1-2k USD or is it too far fetched?
Hey OP I realize that your context has been gone out of proportion by most of the guys here ..

I’ll keep it short..most of us Indians can afford to pay but they won’t spend. Instead someone will try to hack your content and sell or upload it for free on facebook and torrents

What exactly is "coaching"? Life coaching? If it's stuff like that where you keep talking about philosophical bullshit then ofcourse no.

I can pay $10 on udemy and learn an entire programming industry made by Indians or Westerns.
Or go on Udacity, edx etc and learn for 0 dollars from actual professors about any industry.

I suggest that you either target rich people living in the west or learn an actual skill that can provide people value and they feel like it's worth the pay.

Almost no digital education is worth $1k-$2k.

The entire point of hitting the Indian market is to move quantity for a very low price. instead of making 2000$ for 1 sale you make 2000 sales for 1$. Indians are the literal SpongeBob sardine meme (As in there are a lot of them, not in an offensive racist way :P)

who eats on roadsides? also if you get ill it will consume about 700 or more on your health. its always for emergency or who is much craving. also oyo is not goign to give you all dicounts all the time so please make sure to apply from different phone numbers all the time.

I disagree.
So I am Indian and I can say that although many people are poor,
The small amount of Indians you are looking to target may still be in a few millions (0.1% of india's population is 15 friggin million people)

Those are the self actualized guys you are looking to target, who know what they want and are willing to spend on it.

Screw those who think Indians can't afford it,
They simple don't know any such people in their circles.
All my indian friends spend ATLEAST 1000$ per year on personal development, let alone sales, health, etc.

What is needed here is an understanding that the wealth gap in India is crazy. Most Indians on this thread themselves don't know how rich people can get because they haven't experienced it themselves. Which is why they are shitting on a high ticket product.

TLDR. there are about 15 million indians that are pretty self actualized and rich. Target them, earn and eventually middle class will follow.

Indians won't buy courses for that sum. But definitely an IPhone.
Sad but true :)

True

I don’t know but it is not nice to talk about certain country like that! This is very general question for 1 billion of more people live in that country. Some are very rich, many are under poverty level. As far as I know, Indian parents will do anything to support their kids and when I say kids this means people in their 20, 30s ... they still kids in their parents eyes and this means if the kid wants a course that may cost $1000+ they will work overtime and do whatever to have their son/ daughter gets it as long as it enhance their career/ educational lives.

Depends on what kind of course you are offering, from my experience when trying to target these kind of countries with high wealth disparity the best topic for a course would be investing(stock market, real estate etc.), preferably you should target middle class mothers.
