I know it's a bit of a general question but I want to feel out how much Indians can pay for something like a coaching.

Can Indians afford to pay $1-2k USD or is it too far fetched?

No one is going to pay for a course, especially people who know this industry inside out, you're going to get destroyed.

I am going to say this now, the internet is built on the back of Indians and other asian countries, and trying to fool them with things that only western people fall for won't get you far.

You are going to become a meme if you offer a $2k course.

The average Indian salary is like 300$, so it would be like 3-7 monthly wages for them. (not sure)
This isn't something the average person will be willing to part with, but this isn't necessarily unreasonable. Depends on the product, who you're targeting, etc...

I don't think selling courses is a terrible idea, it's not like every Indian is taught IM in schools. (assuming the coaching thing is related to IM)
But I don't understand what's the point of targeting India seeing as OP isn't familiar with its people.

An Indian (or anyone for that matter) with $2k disposable income to spend on a course either made that money because they are good at something and don't need/won't buy your course, or you are robbing someone of months/years of savings. Because if they can't afford that $2k, that's literally a years worth of SALARY, not SAVINGS. These people have to life, eat, usually have to take care of family too. Don't do anything scummy and you'll find your buyers, just don't have high hopes of selling at that price point.

Saw one full digital marketing course selling for like $1 in some indian facebook group, so i doubt any indian paying $1k for a course.

Indian life for pay very low compared with USA and UK and Europe income.

example
in the slums, $1 to $1.50 a day is going rate of daily pay.

a job in an office our out of slums $3 per day.

you do get the odd person earning $10 to $25 per hour like other country but not many at all.

apart from money best part about India people is they're very hard workers and take education very seriously, so when an Indian into a subject they master each module or subject.

Indian have got millions of udemy free course and there packed of free info
PHP
XML
MySQL
html5
javascript
ajax
JSON
100 of examples from there own courses
they don't charge for education most of them because they believe in education should be free.

don't think promoting to Indin will be easy in fact they might laugh as there education so so in-depth and heigh you're need a real hard deep course to impress them.

good luck you need it, watch a course been provided free from Indian there so good.

and no they will not pay for education as most Indians stick together and share materials

If you have to ask this question then you don't know your target audience well enough and wouldn't make the sale anyways. Here's a tip for Indians. A significant number of Indian men would be interested in a $2k dating course especially if they were taught how to get white girls. Not even joking. The adult/dating niche is one that demographic is interested in.

Nope, average Indian person won't buy a course let alone 2K. Do they have 2k on them? mostly yes (hopefully we ain't talking teenagers). But if you have a good service/course that you can target B2B - you can get good sales, i believe.

I love all Indians, they work very hard in their country and deserve the same pay as any other country like UK and USA.

there should be no poverty hart breaking.

about time India was united to Europe and looked after .

so many countries rob Indian life from poverty not fair or right.

Indian life laid back and lovely country being destroyed from rich countries

i said it white english man uk.(( sue me,!))

All he asked is a simple question, but you took it too far. Do you feel threatened or insulted?
