Is there anyone not 100% dependent on Amazon?

As you know, there are tons of people that solely earns their money using Amazon Associate.
Many newbies choose the path of being an Amazon Affiliate.
I want to ask if there is anyone here doesn't entirely rely on Amazon.
What is your main source of income?

I never relied on Amazon, but I heavily depend on Google as it is my main source for traffic.

Same for me. Clickbank and Dropshipping.

Amazon is maybe 5% of my income, and I'm quite happy I never really focused on it given the commission changes lately.

Yeah that's good IMO, never put all your eggs in one basket, with both traffic and monetization.

Given the latest commission changes Amazon has made, think about what they will do in the future.

I am 100% sure that in 3-5 years time there will most likely be yet another commission change that doesn't favor affiliates. I wouldn't dare building a business based on Amazon today, it's just too risky in my eyes. Mark my words

Couldn't agree more. They'll probably remove the affiliate program all together, or make it 0.1% haha. I prefer other Affiliate programs where you make 20-30%+, even if the conversion rate is worse.

The best thing is niches/products that doesn't even exist on Amazon, like VPNs etc.

Used to be, but since the commission cuts am moving over to other affiliate platforms.

The Amazon and Google stuff recently has kicked me in the bollocks, and focused my mind on changing approach.

SEO and Instagram for the most part. But if you're looking for quick results, try promoting an offer through the means of blog commenting and forum posting.

It's dirty, and can take a little while before you get results, but it's a proven way even in 2020.

No big box retail brands payout 20-30% and they never will. Walmart, Target, Aliexpress, etc, all of them are around the same as Amazon's new commission structure. In fact, Amazon I think offered the highest commission out of all the big retail sites up until late. They definitely have the golden cookie.

So it's funny when I see people whine about Amazon when they should probably just thank them.

I think amazon is a great way to start for beginners. Easy to setup etc. Once you get decent traffic I guess you can move on to other affiliate programs that give you bigger revenue.
