Hello BHW!

Can someone point me in the right direction on how to optimize these triple Ts (Title, Thumbnail, Tags)?

Also, if you are in an ART niche do I need to be specific to rank it better?

For example: I'm drawing characters from pc games

Thank you in advance!

here sample video i'd do in your niche:

title = drawing doomguy from doom eternal in 5 mins.
thumbnail = side by side pic, left = rough sketch, middle = an arrow pointing to the right, right = final output
tags = high search volume, low competition keywords related to doom

also these are only a piece of the pie, there's a lot more you need to rank
view velocity, engagements, channel authority, etc.

but the triple Ts are good starting point especially if you upload videos consistently
you'll look good in YT eyes

@midnight-cigarettes How would you suggest researching high serch volume, low competition? Any websites you recommend? Thanks!
i'm a cheapskate so i just use VidIQ's keyword inspector, you'll see data like search volume and competition score.
it's not very accurate like almost all KW research tool but it's a good guide and hey it's free.

i did try ahrefs before so if you got the funds then you can combine that with VidIQ

The cheap version of VidIQ only shows like 3 keywords in the keyword inspector?

yeah the free one only shows 3, but if you buy the paid version you get more results
you can't crack it too because the results are server-side.

the way i use it tho 3 kws are enough, i just type in kw after kw
then pick the ones with good search volume and low competition
