Best niche for YouTube?

Does anyone know the best niche presently for YouTube? I want to be able to grow my account convincingly by the end of the year.

Should depend on your specialty to be able to really have a good following. Any form of entertainment does the best including funny videos, anything on pets like dogs, cats etc, and of course music. Self-help and how-to videos also do very well.

Other than that, the make money online niche and anything in the health, wealth and relationships niches do well.

If you have something that interests you, looking up existing channels in that niche is a good way to start.

I use a variety of niches for my channel, games, different ones, tech, quotes, slideshows, photoshop tutorials, etc at least some of them will go viral (10k+ views) by the end of the year if you upload good enough quality and variety.

When it comes to Youtube, I would suggest you to choose a niche that you are passionate about as well. Creating videos until you reach the monitization level is going to be a long journey.
