I would love to see something like this on BHW...
First, something like a "quick menu" to browse through some of the most popular content types inside the forum for much easier access.--
Second, a WordPress dedicated subforum with two (2) sections, one for themes and, the other, for plugins.
Third, be able to post emojis and not just a thumbs up.
Fourth, an Escrow I think would be a great addition to the marketplace and, another source of income for the forum. I love how Upwork handles this. Obviously, their fee sucks!
But, the structure behind it it´s just amazing!
The same system puts the money on hold for five (5) business days in order to give the customer enough time to test or evaluate the product or service before posting a review using a 5-star review ranking system.
All these reviews are publicly shown in each freelancer portfolio as well as its average rating.
Any dispute can be handled by moderators objectively (don´t we have the shit list for this).
Also, there has to be some sort of rules or warnings against those who file unjustifiable disputes to week out those who try to take advantage of the system to downgrade their competition.
Lastly, create "trust badges" for market sellers who have earned it. Something like "Trusted Seller" or "Elite Seller". Everything will be based on the track record in regards to the number of orders, avg rating, jobs completed, etc.
Cheers!
