HELP! Hide url Source in Embedded Videos

Hi,

I've been learning about the dos and don'ts with adult tube sites. I've come a long way.

However, I can't seem to get over the hump with the following statement:
"If you have an embedded adult tube site you will be hit by Google because you aren't masking the original URL footprints in the embedded video code."

I conceptually understand this but everyone who says it wrote their own scripts. Look I am a coding idiot. I accept that. I won't be able to learn about web development. So, I accept that WordPress is my only option.

Is there a way to hide the originating URL in embedded videos on WordPress sites? or is there a better alternative? Though I have no interest in hiring a developer to build everything from scratch if there is another way that I could manage into the future.

U dont need to hire developer to build it from scratch. Use WordPress, and hire someone who can find solution for you ( he find plugin, create plugin, or create manual code ).

Google sees it as scrapped content instead of fresh content. This is if your player plays on your website instead of directing the visitor to the original site. Scrapped content is usually penalized.

Don't worry about that there is a lot of site they are using this metod and they rank well one is tubesafari

It's ok if you don't know how to code, but there are way far better CMS for adult sites, one of those is KVS, I know a lot of webmaster who use it on adult sites, right after KVS you have AVS, the last version of it is pretty badass, good scripts with very good support in back, look at yespornplease, use AVS, ranked tanked and banking with the old version of it.

Or you can find some good web developer to build for you a custom script.

My advice for you is to not use Wordpress for adult sites, those old good times are gone for a long time when people ranked with Wordpress and wp-script plugin."

I hope so, I never understand how some can rank with such poor sites.

it's pretty much always one of two things (or both):

1) they're doing insane blackhat magic with huge budgets and shit tons of hacked links, parasites, massive PBN/microsite/web2.0 networks, GSA tiers, etc (these sites will sometimes jump to alexa <2k in <6 months before google de-indexes)

2) even though the site LOOKS poor/amateur at first glance, it keeps people clicking because of good thumbs and fast load speed

tubesafari has deliberately oversimplified look and functionality (all my sites do), the reason is that it makes it simple to make it load super fast (my pages load SO much faster than pornhub's--and they'll put your wordpress site to absolute shame), the only critical feature (the search bar) is impossible to miss, and the over-simple design is a little jarring and catches people's attention.

On the back-end there is some absolutely crazy custom-coded shit to select clickable thumbnails. I have data on best thumbs for millions of videos and hundreds of thousands of searches

as far as embedded video pages, tubesafari actually has them blocked in robots. the only pages that rank are search pages (like tubesafari.com/search/teen). Ranking embedded video pages is hard/impossible but you can have them on your site and your other pages w/o embedded content can still rank if they get people to click.

I use the embedded video pages instead of sending to pornhub because I have a really good algorithm for related videos which keeps people on my sites (and actually converts them into repeat visitors--a ton of my traffic is direct/repeat)

so....that's how you rank with "such poor sites"

I have a custom aggregator script lying around that I never finished until now. I really used my free time in quarantine, will probably fully finish it this month. I always wondered if it is still worth it to start this late in the game with a duplicate content concept and monitored all big embed sites I knew of, including tubesafari. I was unsure of the potential ROI that heavily impacted my motivation to finish it. Knew you were on here from a previous thread, but I forgot your username. According to semrush you are one of the biggest winners from the last Google update! 7k to ~200k US Google keywords. It gives me hope for my project. Congrats!

It's definitely not too late in the game, but, I don't think it's worth the effort for the vast majority of people, because you're either gonna have to figure out how to make an amazing site with super clickable thumbs that keeps people clicking and can handle massive traffic, or you have to be god-tier at blackhat

if your site is subpar at all it will fail unless your SEO is godly

Oh also even if you make an amazing site you will still need either a nice budget or some solid manual link-building skills--IE you're either gonna be risking some serious dough or some serious time

There's a ton of shit you gotta get just right, you know?

It scrapes updated views, rating, etc. and shows them in the search card and the embed page. All videos have either a thumbnail slideshow or a preview mp4 for the search page. That alone should put it over the top. DB size will be comparable to ixxx. Will also have a good link building budget.

I just hope I won't spend 10k on HQ links over the first couple of months and google decides to totally fuck me bc of 100% embeds. If I end up with no google traffic to show for this will sting. The money aspect will hurt a little but is not the end of the world. But the time coding took will really hurt. It will start with a domain I have built only some web 2.0 links to, but it has a good placeholder site and is in my webmaster console since last year.

ooh lots of interesting stuff to respond to here--

the ixxx/tubegalore scripts actually show really good thumbs, it's why they've survived so long IMO. It doesn't matter what other features you have, your site won't be competitive with theirs until you build up some data and can compete with their thumbs

I was also scraping true views/ratings on my sites in the early days. It helped me to get ahead on the thumbs game when I had no other data to rely on. In the end, keeping the scraper up to date was too much of a pain and I had plenty of my own data for good thumbs, so I scrapped the feature. It didn't bother my users (or at least, my metrics), they don't seem to care about anything but sexy thumbs. These days it might be easier to maintain a scraper because the affiliate program APIs and resources are getting a lot better in general. I was mostly having to scrape actual video pages. Totally sucked.

I also had thumb slideshows when I launched, for the same reason as you--an advantage over the incumbents. Users like it.

That's a large DB. You don't really need that many videos. Not gonna lie all my sites largely inflate the video counts, it makes my life easier and doesn't affect my users really. Such a large DB could make it harder to scale your site (remember, users will search "teen" and it will match 1/4 your database...that could be 10m results returned from the query. It's a big query.) In general I hope you've thought a lot about how your site would behave if it were getting 10+ hits/second. I did pretty (really) bad with scalability on my first script attempt and so had to make incremental improvements along the way to get the site handling heavy traffic.

10k is a workable budget but you'll have to spend it right, I don't think its enough to get away with very many mistakes. I won't say anything about how to spend it lol, part of the game for me was buying from a TON of different sellers/brokers, wasting money and domains, until I had a set of very strong trusted sellers to buy from...and then further having to test buying strategies like anchor texts, combinations of link types, sellers, etc But google won't fuck you or de-index you because of embeds, so at least you don't have to worry about that. Google will only fuck you for spam--which isn't to say you shouldn't give spam a shot now and then!

You mentioned that you are buying. What exactly are you buying from brokers? Is it just aged domains? I am assuming you aren't buying the videos but are scrapping the links for imbeds. Correct?
