How is this guy able to sell copyrighted material?

Ok guys I know how easy it is to sell copyrighted stuff... My question is why is SHOPIFY, a North American ecommerce giant allowing this to happen, his site has been around for 3+ years and he has had mutliple viral posts on multiple social media platforms.

The people who sell copyrighted material in physical stores are already poor and have nothing to lose so sueing them makes no sense, they also don't make millions. This guy gets 1000 store visitors every day and probably earns at least 1000 dollars pure profit every day.
Why you care so much? You want to replica his idea or?

May be because of his country only as you stated.

Not sure if they can go after em since he is in the philipines might not be worth it for them.
dope art work though.

Haha, shit, I was about to write a long post on trademark in US.

I completely missed the link and username. Thanks for the heads-up :D
You can still write it if you want and have time, as a thread. At least I am interested in starting a POD business and I'm sure you will going to help some other guys to.

I have seen channels on youtube selling anime merch of naruto and DBS and other anime. Huge channels which have been around for years.
Yeah im pretty sure its legal
Its foolish to think that because someone else is doing means you will get away with it or even that its ok in the first place.

It's only me or someone else who also finds this post fishy!:suspicious:
Username of OP and Website name is quite similar.
Yakuza is well known Japanese mafia term... Since I've been fascinated by the mafia I thought why not use it in a username, the second part of my name is cartel, referring to the South American mafia. Big fan of the Yakuza games and Narcos TV show.

And I was indeed inspired by wizyakuza to put Yakuza in my username. So I'm not him, do you think I'd be here if I was a multi millionaire? Lol

Okay, maybe you are not the same guy. :anyway:
And yes, Multi-millionaires hangout here. There are a lot of millionaires here on the form ready to share there knowledge.

Its foolish to reply with a general sentence in a specific topic ;)

Copy this website, mark price and say below: Special Offer: free for a limited time, and lock it with CPA

It will also be easier to promote since you can use that 'free special offer' thing

I sent him an email and DM 2 years ago... He didn't answer. He's quite famous for his artwork. And probably makes millions of dollars every year
Actually copyright owners may be interested... so allowed him to use their intellectual property. Maybe he is paying some royalty fees. There can be lots of reasons actually. I feel they may not care about it.

Pretty sure you have to be licensed in order to sell, use or stream any content like anime, disney, sports, etc. Maybe there is a grey area when it comes to art, but I doubt it. I mean if you tried to sell Marvel shirts they will come after you real quick if they find you.

I think Shopify is pretty clueless until someone flags the seller. I still see plenty of replica shops running on shopify.
