Fresh 300$ to invest.

Hello folks,

I just cashed out my first 300 USD from shopify. Actually, it's an old account that I had forgotten about.

What would be the best investment for it in terms of online money making.

Here is what I considered and why I am hesitating.

1) Expired domains. I considered buying a membership for one of the Saas that scraps expired domains etc. and resell the juicy ones of fiiver or IG.

- Fiiver: Full of comeptition. I posted my gig a week ago no even a single view
- IG: I created a page that I am growing. The seo hashtags are full of scammers so not really an interesting niche for buyers on IG

2) Start a dropshipping business: I would but, I don't have enough money to invest into ads for now. As it could take up to 500$ to find the right ad to scale.

3) Invest in porn sites. However, I have no idea on how to scale it nor how to monetize it.

Do you think of anything else ?

Please advise.

First, read about what you want to do, throwing money at stuff is good for learning, but if you want to actually invest rather than just experiment, read and learn what you want to do. Make a plan and make it work.

Your 3 options above are really different, the first is seo and the other two are very different niches.

Then don't do it.

Look at which social, industry, or professional group you're part of (yogi, dentists, students...). This will be your market. Find your market -> define the customer -> find or develop a product/service for them. It's much easier filling demand than creating demand, and it's easier to work with customers you understand rather than random ones.
Then you can either resell, or create the product/service and you're golden.

You withdrew from your shopify site so basically you made money from it, why not stick back to it?
They offering 90 days free due to covid19, yeah there's alot of people who need money for food and necessities but there's also rich people who are home on their phones all day(your target).

TO answer those who are asking why I couldnt keep up with shopify. It is because, it needs an upfront investment in ads before seing actual sales.

One simple method is selling a service on bhw. Suppose you got good writing skills. You can buy jr vip, then some listing fee and you can start earning.

Good idea, but I guess I need to be a high profile user to claim a decent price for my sig space.

I advice you to learn some skill, which can bring you some side money every month for reinvesting into your own projects such as dropshipping, affiliate and etc..

Once you're getting steady 1k+ monthly in, it's more comfortable to play with it and grow some business.

What's hard is to have only 300$ which you can invest and you're left for luck or failure. And trust me, most of the first projects fail. It'll take some time till you find something that works for you and as you mentioned, dropshipping looks like your thing. However, you still need more than 300$ for that.

Design isn't saturated if you're doing high-quality work. For what reason do you think it's saturated if you can tell me?

If you're thinking about Fiverr/Upwork, yes that's saturated as hell but who's talking that if you want to do the design you have to go on these platforms?

There are so many clients that are willing to pay huge money (for quality work of course). So it's just about thinking outside the box and your creative ways to find clients.. or the other thing is to make sure that the clients will find you but that's more like long-term strategy.

I don't have much experience with doing gigs on Fiverr, but I don't think it's good to go there for anyone as a freelancer. You either going to do 5$ logos and pray for some sales (which is a ridiculous price and actually hurt design market), or you'll set up the normal price but in this case, people will skip you over for the cheaper gig.

Regarding beat-making, that's really interesting man. Would love to listen to your work. I actually do something similar as a hobby in FL Studio. Feel free to PM me some links to your work.

Well I think it's saturated mosly because of fiiver gigs etc. Also on instagram I keep getting spam with people wanting to make me logos or cartoon stuff.

The niche I am trying to work out is the expired domains niche, but It is kinda hard to find clients so far.

For the beat part, I am reluctant to share my work as it can link to my IG and hence to some personal information, I am sure you understand
