One question, as my website is also in news niche and saw a big drop on google and google discover. Did you cover news on the Covid-19? Or not at all?

I'm not sure if this is related to the update but this week I'm noticing something strange. I see different SERP results(outside of top10) in different browsers. All incognito, all set for English and United States, in Firefox I get a new site I did at page 5, currently page 3, and in Chrome - I don't see it at all in the first 10 pages.
Similar thing when I use allintitle attributes. In Firefox for some queries, I get let's say 500 results. I do the same query in Chrome immediately - 2500 results.

not related to update, because i have noticed see this few times over the last year: different result in private search between firefox and chrome... after few hours, they get to the same result.

I search one of my posts today and I find out that Google left me a survey, does that means Google use survey to judge ranking?

One thing I can tell you - in Germany, a huge radio station called ffh.de lost 41% of their traffic as stated by https://www.sistrix.de/news/google-...id-19-wirbelt-google-die-serps-durcheinander/

Here is my conclusion so far....
I have 30 websites, all affiliate sites, some with google ads....
All different with al kinds of tests on each ones...
All with okay content, all handwritten, some with only 3-4 articles, somes with 10-20 articles...
My conclusion is so far:
Sites with little content dropped big...
Sites with affiliate links dropped a little 5-10 places...
Sites with no links buildt is the same....
Sites with a mix of google ads and affiliate went up very nicely 2-5 places....
My conclusion on this are:
Google will force you to have sites with no links other than google ads, sadly I dont have a site only with them so can not say what would happen with such sites....
Sites with very little content and lots of link building are fucked...
Actions, are transforming 10 sites to google ads + affiliate links, will see what happens in a few weeks...
Guess the recipe is a sityes with very good content + google ads and no links are the way....
Any ideas, or similiar conclusion based on your websites would help us all...

My lady is excited because some of her blog posts are now ranking top 3. She does not have that much-written content. Up to 500 words but mostly images and a youtube video to go with the blog posts. She focuses on Youtube and Pinterest.
I found more details. On 8.05 the number of pages crawled per day increased again after the update from last weekend. Now, it appears that some of the keywords began to appear again on the first page, while traffic starts to increase. Will give you guys details after i see some more.
I think it means this update focus on link building, so if your site don't have any link, it was not affected, of course it won't increase or drop, just stay at its position.

This is what I have so far:
Drop in traffic, like really drop
but when in ahrefs it seems like doing good.
No special links build yet, no add or removed. I'm in the commerce section and it seems like my main keywords dropped a bit from 1st to 7th while the ones dominating are amazon, target and ebay.
