HELP!!! Keywords disappear from the 1 positon

Did you made any changes to the content of your page? If YES, Then this has happened due to it. The same happened to me once.

MAde some changes in my #1 ranking post and it vanished and came back after 2-3 days

Wait a while. And Creating backlinks from high authority sites can help you to increase ranking.

Google is testing on postion rotation and rank shift.

Thats affecting a lot of sites, it's not only you.

you still noticing this? i have noticed it to over the last 2-3 weeks, shift in search result on first page of google on keywords i care about. it seems google is trying to decide on 2 different indexes.

Google had A/B tests on 29 & 30 Apr. They're trying to release a new update and checking if it gives them more CTR. You should wait a week for the rankings to settle.

After every update, there will be Google dance. Your rankings may keep changing for a week, but it's not guaranteed if they return to their previous positions. Keep observing the pages that are ranking and copy their strategy. For eg., if they have better content, improve your content accordingly.

My other keyword rankings have dropped significantly, and traffic has dropped by about 70%. Is it still google dance now?

I don't think so. One of my websites vanished from SERPs and returned to same positions yesterday. Same is the case with many other people. You can hope for a little improvement, but nothing can be said as of now.
