Hey guys, so we just had our first game published.
Googling for a while now on how to market and promote android games, obviously there are lots of knowledge flying around which is why I would love to get some pointers specifically to our situation.

Total budget we are willing to invest (in order to see if anything can come out of it) - $300.
If we will be able to get back most of what we invested, we will put it back in and see if it scales up eventually.
Meaning - we got the cash, we just don't want to spend it all before knowing we took the right path.

1.We did some research regarding ASO, nevertheless would you suggest getting a $20-$30 Fiver guy to help us optimize our ASO? is there someone you know of ? maybe Fiver is a bad approach?

2.Iv'e read some suggestions that said buying installs/review is a good approach to get things started (from places like Mopeak) also saw some posts saying that its a bad approach that might get the app banned...

3.Maybe we should invest the money into some sort of a paid ad campaigns? Facebook/Instagram/Google?
Which one would you suggest and what strategy should we take in your opinion? (daily budget)

These 3 sections above is what I mostly encounter, not sure if with the budget Iv'e mentioned above we should take one of these routes, or maybe all of them and split the cash?

Thanks for reading guys, cheers.

Hello! Will be glad to help you
You could buy ASO from fiverr if you know the guy is good at it
Buying installs/reviews from mopeak will never get your app banned, we had more than 2000 apps promoted with 0 bans.
But I wont recommend you to invest the first 300 USD in incent traffic
If you got a nice ASO done - you'd better spend the first budget in Google Ads to find if users actually will install your app and what would your ROI be from these installs

Thanks for the honest comment!, I'll make sure to come back into Mopeak once I manage to scale everything up for an additional boost.

So we purchased an ASO optimization from Fiverr in $40, looks by the reviews that he knows what he is doing.
So by your suggestion the next step is to setup a paid campaign.
You would favor google Ads over facebook? As googling around I mostly find people speaking of facebook paid campaigns.
Would love some tips regarding the specific campaigns such as - which type of campaign ? what daily budget should I set?

Ty!

We'd recommend the Google Universal Ad Campaign as a first one. But dont target the tier1 countries like US/UK there
Facebook costs more per install and would also need the bigger budgets to self-optimize (in order to start driving you cheaper installs)

Option 3 is the best ;) , 300 usd is enough to warm your app and games. But if you generated profit from 300 usd, try to scale and repeat option 3 until you reach goal.

You can buy installs with a wtb thread on BHW.
