I think you need to change Rankmath title meta tags. See if the global setting is applied to individual posts.

in posts setting it shows correct but when you publish the posts and check it in posts it shows %title% + %sitename%

The setting is for search results only. Your titles remain same everywhere, but "on 2020" will be added in Google search results.
If you want your titles to change within the site too, you need to add short codes.
