BIG TIME MESS UP ON EXPIRED DOMAIN

Hello gurus, I need help. I just made a bid for an expired domain, but forgot to check its spam score, after i finish purchasing it. I checked an found out it is about 44% and there is no refund according to the T&C of the domain company. I feel like crying, I dont know what to do.

I intended to use this domain to redirect it to my main blog to boost up my ranking but this has really mess things up for me and i have no fund left.

Use it as a splog site and redirect the traffic to your main money site. Google will see the garbage content and users will end up on your money site. Bank!

Spam score is bullshit. My site ranking with spam score of 55% on #2 for a competitive term.
Thank God, i followed the advice when someone told me "Don't give a damn about any metric. Check link profile manually'.

I feel like fuckin crying everytime someone mentions spam score and actually pays attention to it.

There's a good possibility, that the domain you bid on will most likely be a total crap, but you really don't have to pay any attention to Moz and its shit metrics.

Try to remove the harm links and improve the quality of links it will be better.

Analyse the backlink profile, remove the low quality link and try to add link from authority site,this may help.

What I did was - I checked backlinks using both ahref & semrush

Created a master list of the toxic backlinks which I got from both the tools

Re-analysed the backlinks and disavowed them.

After the link part was done, I posted content and within 4-5 weeks the keywords started showing up on SERP
