Had an email from OnlyFans. They've just changed their terms of service so that the max you can make off getting someone to sign up is $50k (5% of their earnings on the first million).

FYI I'm not close to making $50k off one signup but I know people in the industry that have.

It's just a shame what these big companies are doing to people on the ground

yes lol, they’re greedy. their platform blow up in last few months and they’re taking advantage sadly.

It could’ve been worse though, at least they didnt lower the % to 1% like Amazon, but they kept it the same

Ughhh just another blow, these past 6 months or so has been insane.
First eBay, then Amazon, now only fans.
my category in eBay took a 65% hit
Amazon cut in half
Only fans, most of my commission comes from year 2 and year 3. They’ve had more time to promote their content and build up their fan base. Instead I’m stuck with peanuts for the first year. While only fans gets to suck on the gains that come in for year 2 and beyond. Freaking hell man.

They just keep stepping on the lil guys balls. It’s looking bleak for the lower class and middle class for the next decade. May be time to leave the Bay Area and move elsewhere in the states, or even go all digital nomad and go foreign.

Looks like both. Commissions only for the first 12 months, the maximum amount being 50k.

Not really. It will hurt the big players the most. Some people make 50k+ per month from that one referral. After 1st month, its all gone for them now. People aren't happy about it.

that is true, none of my referrals are close to $50k. The one is about $50 per month.

I heard some guys down in the scene such as agents and producers were signing up chicks then paying for the equipment for the shoots and stuff to help them get started. It was really good side hustle for some. Some were getting rich off of it. now these big fish have no incentive to help anyone starting out anymore.
