Is Proxy needed with 5+ accounts, even without bots?

Hello! I'm currently running 9 instagram accounts that I started and grew from scratch, ranging from 30k - 360k followers. All growth has been manual (have never used automation). I have also never used a proxy and I manage all accounts from the same device. I am definitely an IG automation newb..

As of yesterday, I began using the app Later to schedule posts on a couple accounts.

Do I need to be using proxies even if I'm not using any bots other than automated post scheduling? Am I at significant risk simply because I have more than 5 IG accounts, regardless of whether any automation is used?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

It's a low risk but still a risk. I bet you won't rank as good compared if you didn't link them at all . I feel like Instagram will let you rank better if you only have one account but who knows with them.

Is using a service like Later to automate my posting any more risky than just posting manually the same number of times per day?

You better check this in the Later knowledge base.

Basically you should be good to go, because they can never know if these are your accounts,
or your an agency managing client accounts. still they must have SOME limit in place, so you better look for it.

How many instagram accounts i can run trough later / official API - try to google it.

That's correct. The Later don't require proxy regardless how many accounts you're using with them

@D Fish Whenever you find out this answer and start with your IG scheduling please come back and tell us that it is working. I really need the same thing for my 15 IG's, I'm tired of posting daily.

Yeah you should definitely use proxy. Eventually your IP is going to get ratelimitted or banned completely. Any automation, will get flagged. Its only a matter of time.
