What if Bitcoin went back to $1 ?

BTB - some one remember the life time low of ETH ?

I read the news today that it will take another few months to see positive movements in stock.
But this can be best opportunity for all of us to get stocks/bitcoin at such prices. Bitcoin is usually following the stock
trends from last few weeks.

people who have businesses like cryptocurrencies exchanges will not let that happen. they will buy with their reserve funds and it will lead to price increase.

Doubt that will ever happen, and if it did, many people will buy it and price will be rise again.

If they find they are not safe and they can be hacked or with quantum processing , they will drop and disappear

That's near impossible. Plus I personally don't think the value of bitcoin lies in its price, the real value lies more in when it becomes a part of people's lives as they use it for example in: buying services, saving, employers paying their employees... the price doesn't reflect the real value because there is a lot of people who enter the market just to buy and sell for a quick profit and most of those won't stay long in the space.

IMO There is only one way that bitcoin goes to 1$ and that is a global disaster in which most electricity networks around the world collapse. and in that case I mean who the hell cares about the bitcoin price! :D

Agreed, 1 dollar bitcoin ain't ever happening, that's just daydreaming.

The US dollar however is going to 1 satoshi soon enough.

That's not happening.

If for some weird reason, it does, I'd still bet a $1000!
And unlike now, start keeping a close watch on it.

I'll basically trade whatever lil peace I have for a thousand dollars! Lol.

You should invest in BTC if it falls to $1000. If it goes to $100, then there is a high chance that it's dead. If it goes to $1, then it's already dead.

Remember that it takes at least a few months for this to happen, and the whales move their money to other stable cryptos. The normal people start moving away out of panic. There will be short-term bumps due to investors pouring in money, but it won't sustain the market. Etherium will probably take over the crypto market and most people will move on.

How long?

How does that time compare to what most HODLers plan to do with their Bitcoin investment?

quantum computing it's still in ages to be useful and even if they manage to get it working bitcoin it's a finite resource or whatever you want it to call it, so even then there's nothing it can be done, etherum will move to eth 2.0 where it won't need the mining power. but that's just my opinion.

I don't know much about bitcoin, so my question may be stupid, by doesn't the price of it work like in stock market? I mean, when people sell it, the price drops, when people buy it, price increases...?

Yes, sort of. Depends on many factors such as supply and demand, but yes if you had enough money theoretically you could cause it to drop, hence the terms "pump" and "dump".
