Linking to forums on BHW is not permitted, but...

sometimes there are problems explained on the official forum of WordPress. Would it be against the rules to link to their topic? Will these forums be permitted to link?

I believe the answer is NO, but if you link to any other forum say xyz then it’s a violation of their rules, this is seo forum and Wordpress is a open source it should not be a problem but I hope mods will clarify it no one of us wants to tag Wordpress forum and get a point

I think the rule’s in place to avoid discussion of competing IM forums. Any other resource should be fine.

Are links to support articles permitted? = Yes. The link you have quoted is a link to a support article - answering the original question as posed.
