Hi,

Maybe it's just my method, but I face a pretty big hit on my pinterest traffic. Did anyone experience the same? It happens since Friday last week. I did lose about 50% of my traffic. None of my accounts are sandboxed or domains blocked, hosting is up and running.

Thx.

My main account (fashion) has lot 20% of it's clicks, but it's fashion (who's buying clothes right now) plus I don't really work on it, so could be a mix of both

My marketing account was created a month ago and it's already at 100k impressions and about 400 clicks, pretty good for a new account.

Same here

I experience 50% drop in traffic too, from 6k to 3k. It's also happened around Fri-Sat. This couldn't be coincident right ? At first I thought it was because a couple of my domains are blocked but then I have several dozen of them, a few of them gone shouldn't have this much impact.

Thank you for the answers! Do you see any reason of the decrease?

I dont know what you guys are talking about my traffic is steadily increasing. Maybe its bc of the covid 19?

No. Covid helped my traffic a lot, but it got cut last Friday... Its -50% on almost all my sites.

I wanted to dive into pinterest to get additional traffic source for dating site. I wonder if it is an affective/reliable method.

Also, do you use any automation tools for pinterest managment.

As for the hit - is it possible they do 'changes' to the way they show content to users? I mean, some algo changes like google does?

All traffic is taking a hit IMO.

I see sites with zero SERP movements getting less than half the traffic. The pandemic is fucking everything up.

Most of the world's population is watching netflix

This is what I think as well, but can not find out what it can be... :(

My account is about 4 weeks old. Although not anywhere as stellar as @Blogmoz 's, the traffic is steadily increasing

When my traffic suddenly decreases, I would first check my domains/accounts as OP did. Next, I'd check on my best performing pins which typically drive 80-90% of my traffic. Usually, my pins are ranked highly for the keywords (just type in search). What typically causes the drop in traffic is that someone scraped my pin(s) and outranks mine. When this happens, I just report the scraped pin and a few days later, everything goes back to normal.
