Future of Internet Marketing

Internet is going to replace the TV completely. If you watch something now on TV they always refer about their websites. It's going to have more and more ads on internet and probably people are going to get tired of that. You will have to pay a monthly fee to have less ads. It's always the case now on YouTube but just beginning.
IA of course who is going to destroy a lot of jobs.

My gut says traditional search engine SEO is going to get harder and harder.

PPC has to be where it's at (though my gut says even that will become costlier).

I think it will become way more saturated and only big players will succeed. (hope I'm wrong tho)

The day is not here yet mate. You can become that big player.

But I agree with you that it will become more saturated, and harder to enter with success as years go on.

it will certainly evolve, AI will be used, and we also have new emerging market, VR site (this one hold a lot of potential) as vr device getting chepare and better quality.

The internet have already gone and achieved things faster than any other medium before and I believe that we’re not halfway through the whole evolution yet.
IM is just going its own way and every company chooses the best methods

What's a VR website? I'm imagining a virtual reality room that anyone can jump into with their avatar characters

I think this is a handy topic if we could revisit even in the middle of 2022. Lots of things have been changed over the couple of years, and yet more timely things to discuss I belive.

Video is most powerful weapon for any kind of marketing. Everyone can't afford TV ADS so any kind of Explainer video is the future of internet marking and it is budget friendly also.

People will quit looking at the Internet.
Assistants IOT AR and VR will become more dominant. Devices will dissolve into the scene and not just be held in the hand.
Web 1 and 2 will become the "community service & surveillance web" more than it is now.
Web3 fragmentation with grow from a semantic web/blockchain split dream into a re-emerged
Semantic AI driven, distributed resource allocated, object location mapped 2nd reality.
with an on chain transaction settling system..
called the US E-Dollar contract bank.

There will still be ads ;)

In Europe, we begin to see some political attempts to remove pseudo-anonymity on big social networks to fight against fake news.

It would be a game-changer: less traffic, content that would engage your own real-life reputation, etc.

Internet free speech being a needle in the foot for them, I believe they will do it. But I don't know how to profit from that.

Well life its going more and more digital and more and more business they move to onlime field .I think who chose online field to make money he make a smart decision ,even if it will be more and more competitive ,new ways of making money will be developed

We will see industries consolidate and the emergence of new technologies (AI, synthetic biology, mixed reality, biometric data, 3D printing). I think software-related jobs will be automated first (article writing, voice acting, graphic design, coding, etc)

But in 10 years robots will become functional enough to automate low-skilled labor and self driving cars will be good enough to automate driving jobs

We will see new technologies emerge and some of the old ones die out it's important to stay ahead of the curve and be prepared for anything that might come our way but one thing is for sure it's going to be an interesting ride

Nothing much will change in next 10 years, probably more competition
