by content networks I mean the following
associatedcontent.com
ehow.com

what one actually pays the best for bringing quality visitors that click on ads?

do you know of any content networks that pay a certain percentage of ads clicked? or any that pay really well?

what can you expect to make with 40k visitors?

I have $14.xx in my T3xtbr0k3r account that's waiting to be payed out. Their payout dates are the 5th and the 25th of each month, but in order to get paid out for the 25th you have to request the payout before the 20th. So now I'm stuck until a week from now with no startup cash for an online business.

I found this link earlier today that gives some detailed reviews covering a lot of different writing sites. There are a lot of different sites that offer upfront payments similar to AC and TB that I didn't even know about. And a lot of them pay over $10 an article! Those sites have strict guidelines in order to be accepted, though, and I don't have enough of a portfolio built up to show any quality, just bullshit articles from TB. But yeah, this site covers a LOT of websites and has pretty fair reviews. I don't think they even use referral links :S.

EDIT: I think I've left the link up long enough. The op has seen it, and a hundred more people, so now I'll take it down so the information isn't too widespread. :D

I've answered my own question regarding Redtide's book, as well as other methods to make money from scratch. Blogging, YA, and ewhoring are a good start, I think.

infobarell is another good place for having articles. guess they pay upto 75 % of the adsense revenue.

There's Bukisa but my experience with them was a joke. At the time I was using them they shaved views like mad and took more than 4 months to payout a measly $10. They only paid up after I threatened to stop submitting content (which I had already done)

To vagrance - "I haven't finished reading the MASSIVE "Made $30 Today" thread yet (page 25. I had to download it with WinHTTrack for offline reading because I'm on dialup...) but I was wondering if he's still selling the book. Also, I'm not sure if I should ask here, as I'm sure I will just be told to browse the site and read the threads (which I have been) but I was curious as to what other methods are available to me to make a few bucks with no startup cost?"

The book is definitely still available, let me know of you have more questions about it. As far as methods that earn quick money without any start up cost, you've got ewhoring but it's not exactly for everyone. AC is the easiest to blackhat and the quickest as far as money direct to your Paypal. You can also look into freelance writing/content production.
