I would like to know in's and out's about Domain flipping and its working.
Anything coming from your personal experience would be encouraged and indeed be much appreciated

yes its work 110% , i see many domain in godaddy auction which is sold in more then 10k $ + , you just need to find good domain which have backlink from high authority sites and have a good DA PA and clean domain history. That domain not used before as a PBN or for 301 redirect !

There is a Domain Name Forum here, you can also do a little search on Expired Domains - these are usually the juicy ones that gets eventually flipped.

Its not that you will be able to catch any finds and flip them, but at least you will know how to evaluate what you do find on auctions and such.

You can look for posts from @Nargil about this topic, these are the bread and butter, these are old posts but still VERY valid.

Hey Mate what about This: Buy domain for new companies around and sell them to the owner!
Like spying on new products and services and go fast and buy domain whit there names and sell it to them :
that makes any sense!

that makes any sense!

TBH, no it doesn't.

Maybe you mean going for expired domain that belong to companies, catching them as they expire.

There are more software that even go the extra mile to auto register those, that you better forget about that.

And predicting which domains will have demand up front, never heard of that one before.

Maybe some inside info from a company registration or tax company, to get the actual "brand names" early, still quite fictional.

Don't do it mate, you're setting yourself up for a potential lawsuit. I thought about this, upon researching I just entirely gave up the idea after finding the unprecedented hassle.

So apparently registering a domain name of a trademarked company is in "bad faith" and against the law. So if tommorow if you were to register Google.(your extension name) and within a few months you were to approach Google to sell your domain name. The Google can sue you in the court or can just legally transfer the domain to them from your domain registrar to theirs via UDPR without paying you a dime or both.

Registering a trademarked domain for the sole purpose of selling it back to the trademark owner comes under "bad faith" now it's entirely different story if you got lucky and managed to register a domain before the trademark went live, then you totally own that domain and is perfectly legal to sell back to owner to make money.

What I mean is there are websites where people ask for new brand domains and they reward people about it. the process is caught the winning names and go fast and buy dot HQ domains for those winning names later the owner gonna search to buy the domain for he's brand new winning names :)

thank

LOL if there is a service like this, hell, go for it!

Sounds like a VERY stupid service to be on the surface web, just because the reason you mention, and thousands of name generators which lets you register the domain right away (i almost cry thinking about this service lol)

but i don't underestimate the amount of stupid people on the internet either. maybe you do have a business model there after all.

no I don't have one but I see those websites where people get reward to choose catchy names for new brand business. there's a lot of stupid things in the internet that makes big cash out :) this method I tell you I saw a friend doing it.

Well I have been doing it for over 4 years now, pretty successfully I would say.

There is domain flipping and there's a domain flipping.

Some domains are valued high because of their domain names. Whether it's something super brandable or LLLL kind of domains, etc.

Then some domains are valued high because of their SEO power.

Both of these work. Domain name flipping however is a long run. You might have domains in your portfolio for decades and some will never get sold.

Anything with a nice name nowadays is either registered or is sold by registrars at premium.

Selling domains based on their SEO value is what I have been doing. However, the amount of domains you can get your hands on is limited. There's maybe what... 50 - 100 domains a week on all the auctions that fit my criteria of cleanliness and power.

Like most of the brokers who sell SEO related domains, we bid against each other and at the end of the day, it's just about who has a better and more willing clientele. Or who has more ignorant clientele, considering that I know the kind of abused crap some other brokers sell.

You can forget domain scraping. We have abused the entire Internet 3 times over. I used to process more, but nowadays it's maybe 4 million domains a month. You take a bunch of 4 million, run them through availability checkers and end up with maybe 3 million. You run those through Majestic, filter them out through various metrics, run them through basic filtering bots, hand check them and you end up with 200 - 250 clean domains with TF5+ RD10+ at best. Out of 4 million.

Any new domains that expire are either sold at the auctions for premium or are drop caught and then sold at the auctions for premium or picked apart by hundreds of SEO people via expiredomains.net and similar. Whatever is left is either completely hidden under 50 tons of manure or has somewhat escaped the clutches or people parsing expireddomains.net daily. So bottom line, don't bother.

What you can do, and actually make some money with, is drop catching. You won't ever catch some super high end, nor even high end domains. Impossible. But with one or two drop catchers you can get a few domains a day with decent metrics.

Ignore the history on these, make sure they are indexed or at least look somewhat legit, catch them and then sell them on auctions. There is enough idiots in the SEO field to buy them, regardless how spammed they are. I played with this a couple years back and even though the return is a bit slow, you will eventually make at least double your initial investment.

So if you decide to spend $1K per year, I can assure you, that unless you completely fuck everything you touch up, you will have at least $2K by the end of the year. Buy 200 domains for $8, sell 20 of them for $150 and you are good. You have a year to sell them.

Thanks, I'll probably go and research more about this. Sounds interesting.
