What's working in SEO 2020?

Can you please explain a bit this part?

Its quite simple, basically I have much better results in restoring authority and links to an expired domain if I build the site out with the previous content (where possible), and then submit the old links to an indexer, twitter, etc etc to get Google to pick them up. I wait for the links to appear in GWC and leave the domain alone for a few months. Then when I start to see some of the old KW's hitting top 20, I then repurpose the expired domain into what I want to use it for. A money site, PBN etc etc.

This has a 95% success rate for me. I have a conveyer belt of these domains at different stages, at all times, which means I have quality domains at my disposal when I want them.

I see a lot of people trying to use expired domains straight away as money sites, PBNs etc. Usually the results are poor, at best.

You buy expired domains, then look in waybackmachine what the content was before the site expired, then copy that, put it in ur site, then request indexing of ur site , wait around 2-6 months maybe until it fully re-ranked, then you have an authority site and use it for ur purpose?

I didnt get one part, what do u mean by Sending google the "old links" to reindex?

I have created a guide explaining the process in more detail.

Things seem the same as last year for me. Google still is ranking spammy blogs so it's anyone's game.

What I have noticed lately is a lot more of my competition using 301 redirects. And they work for a few months. Then the sites slowly work their way back onto page 2 and eventually nowhere to be found. Seen a few blogs die this way. Maybe they're penalizing 301's more?

dont work on expired domains immediately as their age rests in google

  1. Guest Posts v/s PBNs - Which one is the best? Or, should you use both? - Both
  2. KGR Keywords v/s Low competition Keywords - Low competition Keywords at the first level
  3. Expired Domains v/s Auctioned Domains v/s New Domains - Expired Domains
  4. How should you start a niche site, in 2020? - Start with adding fresh content & more pages.

Blasting GSAs. Duh!
Guest posts + PBN + other links for diversity = tier 1

Web 2.0, forum links, forum comments = tier 2

Bookmarks, profile links and maybe weaker web 2.0s = tier 3

act natural, avoid footprinting and treat your tier 1 links and your money site with the utmost respect from a quality standooint.

I think this is the most effective strategy but i would love to get disagreed with.

I'm concerned with what works for 2025 and onwards. By then, many new search & spam technologies will be in place.

From what i see new websites are ranking higher than expired ones. Google wants new content, new websites. I've bought some pretty good old expired domains and I was surprised to see that I rank much higher with a new domain. Also for me (from what I bought here and Fiverr) backlinks seem dead. I don't know if this is the case for established old domains.

1. Guest posts will be much better than PBN links

2. I would prefer to go with low competition keywords

3. Any domain can work if used perfectly

4. It should be a secret thing ;)

1. Guest posts will be much better than PBN links - Always were, if you could get the right ones.

2. I would prefer to go with low competition keywords - Basically most of us do, but its a matter of budget.

3. Any domain can work if used perfectly - how do you use a domain perfectly? its either screwed or clean, from there its the site and links.

4. It should be a secret thing ;) - There are no secrets in marketing. you need a solution and it doesn't matter how you get it.

Was just in a mood for a comment there, not trying to bash or anything.
