Hello guys. I bought an expired domain today. I can see the previous website had some content on it. Is there any way to restore the old website from the expired domain? Thanks in advance.

you need to edit database manually to migrate from old to new domain and also make changes in htaccess too OR
PM me details i will help you.

you can only try to recreate the visual part visible at archive.org

You can pretty much restore just what is seen in the Archive.org, where you can simply copypaste it or you can use Domaintools screenshots. There however you will have to rewrite the content from Jpegs.

Shouldn't be too hard to hire someone to do it.

Keep in mind, not all the domains are that well archived, especially if the content isn't interlinked and crawlable too well.

Make sure you retain the old URL structure to keep the link juice. Also, run the content through Copyscape, some domains simply migrate somewhere else, with content as well (or someone might have scraped content out of there already), so the content in the Archive might not be unique.

Like Nargil said, check Wayback Machine, you might get lucky.

Go through wayback machine but above all check if the content is not indexed elsewhere ...

Yes. Checkout archive.org to retrieve old content. Remember to maintain the url structure to maximise previous traffic
