I guess I was overwhelmed by the fact that I got certified for something was learning for fun. Will take it seriously I assure youWell, if you ask for pricing, and mention you finished a course and got certificated, looks like you tried to make it clear that it is NOT a hobby.

Not a pro here but building links may not be good if its new and only have a few articles. I'm currently creating a blog. Hoping to add at least 20 posts and let it get old for like 4-6 months before creating back links. For me, the risk is not worth it.

They are still a key ranking signal.
Focus on good quality backlinks.
A single good quality backlink is worth more than a thousand low quality ones.
Look to build links on authoritative sites.
I use Quora and a few similar sites and not only has it increased my ranking, but I get a good amount of opt ins.
