It's like Google for Eastern European/Russian speaking countries
You can get a lot of traffic from there, but it a mostly Russian speaking traffic

so they are RU

Well whether you like it or not, wheter you will do optimizations or not yandex will still hit your website and it will hit it hard.... Google does like 3 queries a day (on my website) and yandex does from 30 to 70 queries (yes that many) and mostly it tries to hit pages that dont even exist on my website. If anything i would suggest BLOCKING it

yeah most of the webmasters I know blocked the Yandex

but I was thinking can use the Yandex for traffic?

I don't think Yandex is worthed. Especially if your site is in English. But if you target a niche market, you should open all possibilities. I think..

You need Rusian site. maybe make russian version for your site?
it;s like baidu, it's worth it if you need china traffic.
why not try other search engine, duck duck go seem good

because yandex is big and branded and also has a console


as i know duck duck go has no tools panel
