As a newbie, I started at the thread a few days ago about obtaining some leads and wanting some input on the best way to monetize them for CPA.

Unfortunately it was deleted, along with some private messages that I did not respond to.

Any chance I can get some admin input here as to what went wrong and how to avoid this here in this form?

Just a little confused on it, thanks.

It ended up promotional as well as you had people trying to buy (and you were willing to sell) and also do JVs with you.

So what's the solution, to not ask for help on the forums? I apologize if I seem clueless here, but I thought that's what marketing forums were for - help.

Asking for ideas is one thing.

Selling your stuff as you were doing is another.

If you want to sell you need to have a paid membership and an approved sales thread.

Accepting Joint Venture offers is also another.

To offer a Joint Venture that must begin in the Joint Venture subforum - not from a random PM.

Ok I think I understand.

It was never my intention to sell anything. I came to ask for guidance on what someone would do if they were in my position.

I also did not sell leads to anyone. Although they did ask via p.m.

Anyways, thanks for your patience and helping me get to know the rules around here.

Interesting knowing our private messages are being read though, haven't seen that one before. Perhaps I'm niave. Am learning!

They are only read when it is obvious there is something amiss.

Actually going through the process to see them is a huge pain in the backside but if there is reason to go into them, as was with yours as you violated at least 3 rules, we do that.
