Hey Folks
how many redirects we can use on a website i am using 3 redirects at this time on a website but i saw many websites using 100+ redirects anyone know how many redirects we can use on a website ?

I suggest you 3 times is good above means page speed may be slow down.

What kind of redirection are we talking about, is it from or to your website, is it 301 redirects?

Did you see any improvement with your 3x redirects in rankings?

3 would be ideal as too many may result to too much load on the server. Speed will be affected as well.

Why someone would use 100+ :D:D:D:D

For what?

for SEO every redirect kinda reduces the power of link juice.

For visitors - every redirect will cost you some percentage of visitors because of load times etc

If it is a 301 redirect, Using 3 redirects in the correct way, will give you the best results. But using more redirects may affect your site performance.

Well, there is a long debate. There is no problem if you/your company own 300 domains and redirect them to 1 domain name. The problem arrives if those domain names are not related to your website niche. I don't see any problem if I buy 5 computer-related websites and I redirect the content and the visitors to my main domain name, which is also computer-related. It's my right to use my own websites as I want. But if I buy 5 domain names, non-related to my niche, in this case, the computer niche, and those 5 domains came from - let's say, medicine niche, or from more niches, the minimum risk is that the link juice will not pass.

1 can be bad if it is a bad domain. So the answer, as always, is subjective. It depends on LOTS of factors.

I can tell you with certainty that 301’ing domains is not the secret sauce of success, but it can help if used as part of a balanced link building strategy.

i really doubt you counted 100+ redirects many do that for views clone , keyword stuffing but website credibility is lost no user will visit again when there are more than 7+ redirects if your redirects page load is just bytes you can use upto 20+ not more.
Happy to see old school ways still around :D

2-3 I think. 100+ is insane!

Yeap :)

Max 3 will do good. Having more redirects sometimes slows down page speed and effects site performance.

Many people are using a lot of redirects on there website on a porn site i see 1500+ redirects count by Ahref this is insane

Lolz you can even use 1 million redirects with simple iframe technique they are used on adult and movie stream sites started mining based on your browsers too.
these kind of things are just used for views and keyword stuffing nothing else. And there is high risk if you don't do things properly.
