is this a limitation email from paypal?

hi, i recieved this email from Paypal. pls can someone with experience help me make a meaning out of it...

We've reviewed your PayPal account, and due to the excessive risk
involved in doing business with you, we'd like to begin parting ways in
a manner that is least disruptive to your business.

There are no further appeals being allowed on your account.

To withdraw your money, you'll need to add your bank to your PayPal
account. Here's how:

If you've a Personal account:

1. Go to paypal dot com/uk and log in to your account.
2. Click 'Wallet' near the top of the page.
3. Click 'Add bank account'.
4. Enter the sort code and account number, and then click 'Link Bank
Account'.

If you've a Business account:

1. Go to paypal dot com/uk and log in to your account.
2. Click the Profile icon at the top of the page and then select
'Profile and Settings' from the drop-down menu.
3. Select My Money on the left side of the page.
4. Beside 'Bank accounts' click 'Link bank' or 'Update' and then click
'Add'.
5. Enter the requested information and then click 'Add Bank Account'.

account is limited' as the sub-topic, then send your message.

Option 2. Money in your PayPal account will be held for 180 days. After

Any bank or credit card information on your PayPal account can no longer
be removed. Your personally identifiable information will not be used by
us nor shared with third parties, except to assist law enforcement as
required by law. As an additional safety precaution, the financial
details registered on your account cannot be used on any future PayPal

It seems they gAve me a chance to withdraw my money, but i dont have a uk bank account and i dont live in th UK.

or is this their normal way of telling me to say bye-bye to my money.

Has anybody had similar experience.. to share with me? or anybody to help me get my money out?

Good thing is that they're allowing you to take the funds
Best way is to try this if it actually allows you to withdraw. Or you have to wait the dreadful 180-days

You’re luckier than most in the fact that they’ve actually given you the option to withdraw your money.

I’m fairly certain that if you just add a UK bank account they’ll allow you to get back your money.


Usually PayPal just sends you an email saying. ’ bla bla we don’t want to work with you wait 6 months for your money’ so you got lucky here.

where can i get this option - it sounds great but where do i get this type of VBA to add to this account?

Also im thinking if i could not get a bank account to add - i should make a refund to 2 or 3 of my clients that actually paid large sums (there is a provision in there that says i can disburse refund) do you think thiis option makes any sense?

Edit: To solve your issue, I think there is a easy method of getting a UK VBA through payoneer. I remember seeing some info about that here, so do some digging or if another member can reference that post.

The account was created with my real details but different nationality (i couldnt create a business account from my ip)
well, i write content here so most of my clients are from here...i made sure i issue out receipt to my clients and never had any issue except one refund.

What Triggered it?
i guess it has to do with my trying to transfer the funds. i sent the money to someone so he can change to local currency but his paypal account got the 'hold' freeze. i later got the guy to refund the money and the next day i tried to do the same but i got the temporary limit. they asked me to furnish them with recent activities on whom ive sent money to and for what reason were the transaction carried out. and i did.

I read up on some VBA merchants and some say their vba cannot be used on ;limited paypal' and i dont actually know if that applies to me.

Actually i have done this before. Refunding the buyers, and let them send to my other paypal accounts.
While this actually works, but we have no assurance that the buyer will actually send the funds back to you.
So, please do this with caution.
The safest way is to withdraw the funds.

Are you from Europe? If so,get a revolut or n26 bank account then x-fer the money in batches and from there to your local bank account.
