So i am searching some domains and i came up with good (only because they sounds good, im here to understand how to determine if they might be worth using) brandable names which are avaialble, my question is:
Will it be completely worthless if its not .COM? meaning, it will always be better to have a longer, less brandable name, than a short one which is not .COM?
All other .shop, club etc, and ones that have perfect phrase match like Proper.Health, you get my point, SEO worthless? or will be weighted as any new domain i would use from scratch in that case, including a .com
Or in all or most cases it will all come down to my content strategy and link building, with the domain having a minor impact on the long term (as long as its not spammed)
I am trying to figure out whether going without the perfect domain in the first place can make me face a dead end, and that no matter i will try, it will not rank.
Also what free tools can i use to do a quick check on these domains for their metrics?
