Should I try to earn backlinks or buy them?

Hello everyone,

I am searching for some answers regarding backlinking strategies. I want to start a blog and grow it fast, get a lot of traffic, a high ranking on search engines and so on.

I have read a lot of articles about backlinks and made a little research on SemRush for a few competitor websites in my niche, but I can't seem to understand how they are getting so many backlinks in a short period of time.

I have also seen that there is a possibility to buy backlinks. However, everyone says "don't buy backlinks", but they seem to be doing so. The numbers don't add up, it's impossible to get tons of backlinks through the classic manual process (there is no other way, unfortunately).

I would like to know what your opinion is about buying backlinks and what type of links should one buy without affecting the blog.

Buying backlinks will be costly. Dont go for PBNs. Also, even sites doing paid guestposts got hit bad from Google. So, whatever you do, you have to strategize for longer run and not for short-term. Do you work right, create good content, be creative and you will see spike in numbers. I think you should try profiles backlinks not blogs. It's more useful as for me. 30 profiles backlinks will be enough for first month.
