I will give you a brief summary of what is happening to me, so I will start. I am 16 years old, I live in Venezuela and I am on my way of learning many things that I am passionate about.

But other things that change my lifestyle, such as the economy of my house and what is currently happening in the world, are driving me in a certain way crazy.

I will be more accurate, I love creating electronic music and learning programming things. I have been taking advantage of this time (or so I wanted to do) to be able to study things that maybe will be useful later, mathematics, physics and some programming courses.

But the recurring problem is that every day the electricity goes out for 6 or more hours a day, due to rationing given by the filthy government that is in my country. The economy affects my family (My mother and I) to a point where we do not have a single grain of rice in full quarantine and if to this day I am alive it is by the grace and work of God or anything that runs the world .

So I am forced to deal with Internet jobs, I like working on the internet, but I also want to learn and maybe it is because of my lack of discipline, but time does not pay. And I don't know what to do, it stresses me seeing my home without a grain of rice and my mother selling things or even crying because she doesn't know what we can do.

I have tried in various ways, works on common pages that really pay a pittance regarding the time I can spend, writing articles, editing videos and etc. I have actively sought work on Reddit while trying to improve my skills in those two pillars of my life.

But I have also been affected at the point where I never had a happy adolescence, many shits that happened in my life have left me depressed, perhaps my mother does not realize it, but I really cannot take it anymore and I do not know what to do or what to focus on .

What would you guys recommend? I know it is something, crazy, to seek help online, but sometimes a tip is a bit of encouragement for me, taking advantage of the fact that I have no friends and I do not trust my mom to tell her how I feel or that I do not have a father because he recently abandoned me. Actually, there are many things, I just need some advice.

I understand that there are people worse than me, more than anyone I know, but I, personally, cannot cope with the load that I am carrying.

You can also create account on fiverr and start offering your gigs about music. Make youtube channel, upload bits of music, link back to your fiverr gig. Promote your music on other websites.

Just pick 2-3 things that you want to do and focus on that.

Make a schedule and follow it. If you have power problem, change your schedule as per power availability.

Stay strong mate.

Check out the journeys section for ideas.

If you develop discipline and work hard you'll make $ and be able to help your mom and yourself.

Times are tough but they'll get better. Work hard, be honest and don't give up. Everything will work out fine.

try copy or print some of the journey in journey section (that way you won't need to spend your precious time with elctricity, and stand still when electricity go down)
I always believe, when someone is under pressure, the you have 2 choice succumb, or get over it and bounce higher than the pressure.
GL on the journey OP, keep going. Where there is a will, there is away.

Some people act better under pressure (when they HAVE TO do something) and some don't (relief make them productive) know who you are and act, if you won't give up you will make it.

those hard times spice up your personality, and you're still young enough to leverage that later on in life. people that never been trough these hard times or situations, have a lower chance to make it big in my opinion, at least if its not their father's money we talk about. so stay strong, you sound like you will make it!

My suggestion to you is Snapchat, it brings $$$ the day you begin doing it. Perhaps choose a program that pays weekly/bi-weekly for your situtation.
I was able to make 50$ in 2 days the first time I ever tried Snapchat...

Hello my friend, I previously read your story, it was incredible to read it but perhaps I had not understood it since I was not going through that situation. Today, when I reread it, I felt identified at my young age in many feelings that you had throughout your trip. You really are an example for me to follow. Thank you!
Don't give up, bro. You should definitely check out @Billy Batts older threads on how he ended up being what he's now.
Thanks you my brother

I don't have money to buy a cell phone, neither my mother nor I have a cell phone since we had to sell it to buy food a long time ago. My pc is low resource and I don't think I can hold an android emulator to run snapchat. After all, thank you very much, it is an incredible idea that I know that if it is done with effort and dedication it can be done!

Thank you very much for the support man, maybe I needed those words one day from him, hearing it from members that I consider my brothers is something that helps me a lot to reflect and not to decay so much

I would like to do it but I really don't know how to ask an administrator for help to get him to that area:(

That same I will be doing partner, I have noticed that the most important thing is not to give up and the truth is I do not plan to do it. Thanks for the support

Hello, I am sorry you are going through a difficult time. My advice is to go to college for engineering or business depending on what you prefer. Then get a job and work your way up the corporate ladder.
The truth is that you can make more money from a 9-5 job than working online. I'ts more stable and more safe too.
You can have websites ranking on google and making you cash, but then a google update happens and you lose it all. I advice you to get a job and support yourself and your mother. Go to university and get a degree. That's the best investment you can do.
You can always do the internet thing on the side for extra cash. The best way to make cash online is through seo like an amazon affiliate site. Check out the subreddit "juststart" on reddit.
Hope it helps.
Sorry if my English is wierd. I am not a native speaker.

I understand the fact that a university career gives me more job opportunities, but currently the 9-5 job as you indicate in my country is a complete disgust, it does not matter if you have a master's degree in teaching being a great teacher or a person who cleans, both will win the same.
Obviously I don't criticize the people who clean, since they make their effort in their own way, but burn your eyelashes in a university so that someone who just finished high school can win just like me?

I prefer to risk making money online.

You said that you'd written articles. Do you know about SEO? You can learn about SEO on this site and how to write articles for people with good SEO. You could start a gig doing that on Fiverr or anyplace for freelancers. You won't get rich but it would provide some income. Best Wishes and stay safe.

I think you could get an offline job or work as a freelancer. Depending on your skillset you could do graphic design, coding, translating, etc. Why don't you work as a freelance writer? You seem to know English.
The amazon affiliate niche sites usually take 1-1.5 years to start generating income.

Of course, mate, I have previously done free SEO courses on the Internet. But normally I am rejected on the sites since my English is not perfect because it is not native. I have tried working on Fiverr on several occasions giving great offers I even remember that I got to offer 5 articles of 1000 words for only 5 dollars and nobody ever clicked on my gigs, I left good samples of work but I think that until my English does not improve it will not I will have a chance in the writing market, almost all are native speakers with a greater knowledge than mine.

Yeah man, I will keep it in mind
