[Important] I got scammed...

@BbHhWwVM , I understand your sense of logic. I really do. I have thought logically too, like if he actually bought my account with escrow.com, I would literally "steal" him right now.

But I feel that I cannot just give up man. I've already said that I felt pissed off and I want some justice to be served here. Even if I make too many requests.

I can understand that, it's fire, and fire can hold for years, not days or months, so it's all normal

The best you can do is to prepare and get every piece of proof, screenshots, whatever you have. If you had recovery email address, you are notified that email has been changed, and that is a decent proof also. Think if there is anything that helps you on IG, some chat logs, go deep into every single detail.

Collect everything at one place, find/pay someone who you can trust, or friend of your friend in real life who is expert with info digging/hacking.

Send emails to scammer, not for phishing, but for IP tracing. Determine his base IP, his provider, get in touch with his internet provider.

Provider will refuse any cooperation by default, so leave that as 2nd option, and try to get a man from that company to get you his physical address.

Option 1 for his internet provider should be hacking company database obviously with assistance of WH or BH hacker (you know in real life, else you're scammed)

That attack is done by digging internet company employee list, and the very best source would be Facebook and other social media such Linkedin. (search for who works there)

Search for images and any kind of news regarding the company, who tagged inside the company (as a visitor) it is a very good chance they have friend employer there.

From there, hacker could investigate and serve what victim would open/click and eventually setup a backdoor to enter company database.

If success = his physical address will be found via base IP tracer.

If failure, or no friend hacker (do not be desperate) do not hire nobody from dark web or something like that, you are scammed 99,99,999% so better don't risk
(they will also ask BTC only, lost money)

Digging of employers you can do yourself, tracing IP you could learn yourself too (use google) and offer $ anonymously to employers for the IP owner address.

Mix up some story that employers could bite, and most of them are mutual friends, they can access to sensitive info, it's not some ultra breaking of rules or something, nobody will even know.

And try to make non BTC transaction with employer, so if he try to scam you, you can show him big list of his company mates and say: you better finish that thing for me or refund before everyone find out what you accepted.

Once you have his physical address, get a lawyer and use proofs from above to fight him in court.

This is probably the best possible solution you might think of. Hard, but possible. Good luck!

Edit: before court and lawyer stuff, you can scare him pretty bad (anonymously) should not be that hard.

And when he connect the dots, things might change without lawyer.

Google asked for more information, just do whatever they say.. Go overboard, give them anything you can think of which can tie you to that account.

I've gotten Twitter handles after being told no 3 or 4 times before because I didn't give up and just did what they kept telling me I wasn't doing.. same situation here.

Also access admin.google.com for this account (guessing you can't) or any other Google account (create a new one if you don't have one) and then go to the live chat option there. I've found that live chat to be the most helpful way to communicate with Google - I've gotten answers to problems in no time, and more to the point you sidestep the automated system's you're trying to use now.

If you talk to google in a live chat you can explain your situation and ask them what you can do. They will tell you a lot more than a little popup window.

Good luck - don't let people tell you to give up. The people who give up are the people that always lose, this isn't impossible it's just difficult - contact live chat and do whatever the hell they tell you to do quickly and exactly.

Yes this is something we all need sometimes to be, HONEST. Just tell them what you did, and that you want your personal account back. You know you made mistake by trusting people, but on the other side of support are still people. They can make some adjustments, and maybe help you.

I hope you will get to your acc!!! fingers crossed.

Thank you. About the admin.google.com,
I need a gsuite account for this? Personal accounts cannot be used?

Edit: before court and lawyer stuff, you can scare him pretty bad (anonymously) should not be that hard.

Even if I send emails to my stolen email address... He won't read them buddy. He just took the account for the main email instagram reasons.

But thank you for your thoughts.

Not sure. I only have gsuite accounts.

First step is to try with a normal account. If that doesn't work then set up a gsuite account. It's a trial anyway, so set it up and cancel within 24 hours after you speak to them etc etc

That sucks I would try contacting Google there maybe something they can do to prove you are the original creator.

Use what you have and contact him, the same way devil is contacting humans. Be as nicest person you can be and build a connection with him.

If you don't know how, remember how you made it 1st time, repeat this process, he will come to you. From there you can build trust and move conversation to emails.

This is not hard at all, he just need to bite and get into conversations, click one link later (you explain as business) Done, you must know IP provider from there.

Who clicks on a suspicious link? He will definitely won't click on it.

Except if it's from instagram ;)

Such comprehensive guide. Do you have experience doing this?

BTW op the only way is using finding the scammer identity than try discuss first, if still cannot than use legal mean. Pretty sure ig won't help, since they don't condone personal acc selling.

Fools learn from their mistakes, and smart from strangers, thanks for the invaluable experience;)

Update:

Lol, he changed the username into something with tattoos (terrible username):
https://www.instagram.com/glassstreettattoo/

Look how many followers he is losing per second...
https://instastatistics.com/#!/glassstreettattoo

Even if I gain access to my account again, he deleted all my 400 quoting images (which had 5000+ likes and 31% engagement).
So... I should better just move on.

PM me

couple day ago my gmail was hacked, and they already change recovery email and recovery number. After trying like several times, google ask me my old password and voila, i got my gmail back. I just do all their intruction and got to "enter your old password" point. Hope it can help you

Take it on the chin as a learning lesson. We've all gotten fucked over before and we learned the hard way.

Now you know for next time when you do a $10k deal. Better to lose $400 now and learn keep going than lose 10k in the future.

Only thing I can think of however is trying to use the "Forgot password" feature on your email get in and undo the password changes which I am sure they have done.
But like I said, it was worth the learning experience.
