@Djigit Try Filmora or Camtasia. They are user friendly since you're not into video editing, if you want more professional and more options, go for Adobe Premiere, After Effects & Sony Vegas

Yep, bro... There are many online and offline editors available today... But still movie maker classic is one of the best imo... I'm using this from my childhood

Camtasia is really not the tool for making Marketing Videos, Ad videos, Instagram Stories, etc. it's really designed primarliy for screen recording, not in-depth video editing.
Filmora is a great option if you go with Filmora 9 and not Filmora 10. The #10 version took a step back from Filmora 9 in the worst possible ways.
That stated, my suggestion is that you learn Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premeir. Yes, they have a learning curve, but they are every bit worth it!

I am a professional video editor and I would recommend you to download ADOBE RUSH app on your mobile... its a paid app but you can find the crack on youtube… I bet this is the best video editing app out there....
This is only for Mobile though, or else for pc I use Adobe Premiere Pro which needs bit learning

Adobe is worth it! Once you learn and master Adobe, the sky is the limit! Davinci, I've never used it before, I've only looked at it.
I also use Filmora 9, and Camatasia, but Adobe is my mainstay.
One of the other reasons I love Adobe is that I can access a TON of templates for both After Effects and Premier. I'm subscribed to VideoBlocks, BlueFx, Envato, Filmstocks, MotionArray, and a host of others.

I want to do youtube long term so I guess it makes sense to start with the software that I am gonna stay with instead of using a free one first and switching to a better one when I mastered it.
That way I don't start from zero again.
Do you recommend buying all adobe apps? That way I also have Photoshop for thumbnails

Like Is stated previously, Adobe is the way to go! Look at my last post, I got Abobe CC through nanohits about 2 years ago. After it expired, I used my student ID, and it just so happened that nanohits recently had another package available at $69 for Adobe CC for the year. It's a great deal IMHO.
If you can't get that, a valid student email will get you Adobe CC for $239.88 per year or $19.99 p/m. With the aforemention packages, you get ALL of the Adobe products.

Caveat! Stay away from the BlueFx training! Their training is outdated in many cases. In addition, they teach as if they are talking to those with After Effects experience as oppsed to teaching Novices, so be warned.

Thank you for your detailed explanation. I want to buy off nanohits but I think he only accepts BTC. I need to do some research on how to pay safely and stuff.
I am probably going to learn as I go and use youtube tutorials and stuff. Basic editing to start with, nothing too fancy.

I have done a lot of video production and of the free video editors I think VSDC Free Video Editor is the best, lots of basic and advanced features, very robust and 100% free.

That's true and I had a ROUGH time getting him paid because my bank rejected my ZenGo Virtual Wallet Bitcoin transaction twice.
We ended up using Payoneer.
Basically, if you open a Payoneer account and fund it, you can make the payment that way. Be advised though, Payoneer will take about 4 days to release the funds.
P.S. You may be able to us Transferwise if you are not using a US Bank.
