300 Spun Articles into Quality Articles Journey

I have a little amazon affiliate site that I've just started out. I have 110 articles that are published as spun content. There are 3 categories on the site, and each spin for that category is different, the first couple of categories had over 50, now the last one has almost 200, so that needs to be started.

What I've done so far:

Posted 110 spun articles with affiliate links and pictures.

What I've still to do:

Post 190 posts with new spun text and update affiliate links and pictures.

What the ongoing plan is?:

Once I finish all the articles on the site, I'll start editing maybe 3-5 articles every couple of days so that each article is much higher quality than the spun text it was.

Track the rankings via ahrefs and serprobot

Hopefully, this should be interesting to see what happens in a few months once the crisis is over. This product is not essential but it is a popular piece of electrical equipment.

These are the first 2 keywords the site is ranking for.

Isn't it a better idea to first edit them for improving the quality and then publish them rather than first posting them and then proofread/edit them?

How about using WP automatic and get feeds from blogs and spin them that way?

I would only re-write the articles for posts that G starts ranking and/or start getting traffic. The re-write is purely for conversions.

Having articles on your site that are poorly spun and worded is not a good thing with Google. I think it's best to edit them before publishing the post. I'm curious what spinning tool you're using. Good luck and stay safe.

It could be any of the well known spinners mate, I used a basic few paragraphs of text to create a master spin, then I clicked automatically create.

Just export all the spins to text files, and open with notepad++ before placing in wordpress.

350-400 words. Hopefully when I revise them I can get them upto 500/600.

I want the site to be aged by the time I finish all the articles. It won't be long before they are finished anyway.

Nah. there are only about 300 products in the niche.

Ok, I updated 10 articles with amazon links and product pictures. I'll be trying to do 10 a day weekdays till i get all 50+ done of these articles.

Hmm this is an interesting method of doing it! I've started 2 affiliate niche sites recently but have been working on quality 1000 word articles (half informational articles and half product review articles). Publishing about 10 to 20 articles per moth by paying Native English writers. Curious to know:

• Have you successfully done this before (i.e. published 100s of spun content pieces then came to fix them afterwards)?
• Showing spun content to Google crawlers seems like a high risk move. Do you know any downside of using this method?

Today I updated 10 articles with links and things, and now i'm ranking for a new keyword at 30, although, it dropped off, but hopefully reappears again.

Looking forward for the result op,
If it's me I will edit it before post. Since if Google detect it as spinned article, they will put it low on Serp. Even if you fix it after it will take time fo Google to reindex.
