Is there a way to scrape a list of failed companies and their website?
Does a website that keeps track of those companies exist?

I’d like to buy some domains of failed companies that have probably collected good backlinks when active.

since they are failed any copyright is lost?

Maybe build a scraper to scrape google maps or simialr directories? There are big companies that failed and let their domains expire, but you can still find them on the web.
