Common Blogging Mistakes:
Unrealistic publishing schedule i.e. many bloggers do not set the schedule for publishing his/her posts. some bloggers do not post for weeks or even months which is the biggest mistake they are making..they are not consistent in their work which leads them nowhere.
Use other words instead of click here- when bloggers link to any other posts on their blog they simply mention click here which does not sound very interactive. Some replaceable words are checked it out, visit this page or simply mention the name of the post.
Not using images or videos- this is a very important aspect as a blog looks very uninteresting and non-interactive, dull and boring without images. Nobody would like to read this kind of blog.
Not using headings, sub-headings and proper spacing-if your blog looks like a single wall of text nobody would be willing to read it. They would bounce in a minute, so make your blog as presentable as possible.
Not responding to comments- Hey guys!! you are writing for your users in order to help them out..and if you are not whole heartedly solve their problems then what's the use?? In order to win their hearts, you must respond to their comments and questions and that to on a regular basis. Check your posts daily and try to answer them asap!!
Not adding social media options- In order to make your blog famous and increase your reach, this is a must...
Not analyzing the data- You must analyze what kind of posts are more likable for your users? what works out best for them? and then write according to it..try to solve their common issues. Also analyze your website for example: which posts your readers liked best? Do you understand how people are finding your information?
Not writing in plain English- Readers must find your content simple and easy to read. You should not attack them with heavy words as no one would like to open a dictionary while reading a post. Delight your readers. Make your posts as easy to read as possible.
