Yes, I use mostly anchor text, when inserting the link into the anchor text does it matter with format to use

Yes relevancy is important nowadays. But these links are mostly web2.0 (like Medium, Wordpress, etc) you used them for diversity, brand exposure and authority boost.

Thank you, I read the article, it seems that there is no need to use any keyword anchor as the links being built. I have pretty good articles 800-1000 words each. After reading the article I will be using "click here" and "read more on their website" as the anchor within the article. Is it correct to assume that if the keywords I am trying to rank are within the article and I'm using "click here" or naked url links I will be able to rank for the words with in the article?

If you have any suggestions on other articles to read or courses I can take I would really appreciate because it seems I am doing random things that are not getting me results.

No that's not enough. Put at least 700 words. The more words, the more long tail keywords you can add.

No, that's not quite right. Instead of "click here", use your brand domain instead or a combination of brand domain + phrase keywords.

If article is related to your niche it's all ok.
If your niche is beauty and article talks about crypto of course it's a red flag.
