i have a problem with fake clicks. it's like this i have 400-550 clicks charged every day and 30-70 fake clicks not charged by google. since 1 month everything has changed I now have 1500 clicks that are charged and 2000 clicks that are not charged by google. it is so obvious that a competitor clicks on us but google does nothing about it. I use a PPC bidding strategy and paid a total of 20 euros per click, now I have lowered the costs to 3 euros and I have lost my 1st place plus I get far fewer customers.

You can sort out the ip's and block your competitor from clicking your ad.

I already have that I use a third party called click cease to block all ips only they use advanced software they change ip use proxy and have different Divice IDs.

Click Cease sends a report every 2 months to Google about the costs of the fake clicks, but Google rarely pays and pretends that this is normal and that nothing is fraudulent.

Technically it's impossible to change devices frequently to click in bulk way in your case. You can either report these clicks to Google support, or narrow your search for now.

apparently not if you press control shift I and you have a list of id divces then you can change id all the time but my competitors have something very special I still haven't figured out how or what but I hope someone can give me advice maybe i need to change my bids so go from PPC to CPA so google alch rhythm learn that these are fake clicks?

click cease has an option that ensures that you can follow the movements of your website visitors and so every time I see that my robot of my competitors performs different actions, one time that stays on the website for 2 minutes, the other time 20 seconds each click is different and the actions are different. click cease shows that they are using a vpn system

I advertise in the Netherlands and the funny thing is that I have excluded all countries, so you cannot see my ads in any other country. but click cease show me that all the fake clicks are from other countries so I find it very strange that they display my google ads with proxies from other countries while I have 100% excluded that well

So Roboxit = hazelnuth112, and you own click cease? this thread got me a little bit confused.

How many months have you been running the account for? Typically they'll do an audit and refund it after a few months on their own. Also, how are you positive they are fake?

Hello,
I have a similar problem. But, not exactly the same thing. I publish my ads via Google Adwords. I think that some competitors are clicking my ads. They are attacking strongly untill my credits are run out. Google may pay back this fake-clicks but not all, just a small amount.

In my country, users can easily change their IPs by turning off and on theirs modems. Or by taking their mobile devices to plane mode on and off.
My targeted customers are mobile users.

I optimised my campaigns tightly. I beleive that I have a strong PPC strategy.

Now, I need to know how to detect, list and block those guys' MAC addreses. Is there any way to do that? Please help me..

You can request an investigation on that, if u give the support team your web log and prove that they are invalid clicks. If u prove it they will refund you for this clicks.

But he would have to do that every day.

why not setup a honey pot? Add links to the site that have height=0 or display: none in the css... so that only bots can see them... take the list of ips that click on that link to google and explain what you did.

Won’t work. Just because a link can be clicked by a bot doesn’t mean it will. Especially since if they’re not getting detected by Google they’re most likely using some form of browser emulation so it won’t click them even if it wanted to.

@OP you said they were using a VPN? That’s good news at least since it gives you somewhere to start at least. There are a couple of services which try and detect the obvious ones and automatically report them to Google for you and they might know that VPN already. They charge but it’s probably cheaper than the ad spend is.

No... but every one that does click the link is a bot for sure since it isn't viewable to humans... also, most bots are programmed to emulate human behavior, so they click the ad, load the landing page, wait for a random amount of time, then click another link on the site at random and do the same. Why would browser emulation make that different?

You could also analyze your sales by hour and see when the clicks remain but the sales drop and see if there are any patterns there. Or maybe set your ads to come off and on during the day to see if that helps any.

looking for a blackhat guy to click my competitors; with stealth and results even if they have clickcease etc

I think we should ban him, is there any infraction for such pm query?
