After reading a couple threads I see that most of you all would advise I start with atleast $1000, if I want to start a real campaign. At the moment I have $50 lying around and am stuck in the house because of COVID-19. I was thinking about using it to promote some offers on crakrevenue/maxbounty. Especially since the end of the pay period is coming up on the 31st. Any money I make between now and then would be paid to me on the 15th of April. If I wait until April to start I wouldn't get paid until May 15th :(
On one hand I want to take my time to learn media buying more before I rush into things. But on the other hand I think the only way to learn is to actually try to do it. It seems like this is one of the most secretive forms of internet marketing. Which makes me think it is extremely profitable and all the big guys dont want to ruin it for themselves lol!

What network will accept a deposit of only $50?

What amount of money would you suggest I actually start with?

How did you guys learn this?

How do you suggest I learn this?

Do you think the virus will make dating offers unprofitable due to everyone staying home?

I don't want to discourage you in any way, but to learn media buying, you really need to have atleast 500$ to start getting info. See, to learn media buying you need to gather info. Info on what offers to promote, info on which devices work and which suck, info on what traffic sources are great, and which traffic sources are just sending bot traffic. And all of this combined takes money. In general the suggestion is: If you wanna find a winning offer you need to spend atleast 10x or 15x the payout of the offer. Which means if you are having 2$ PPL Offer you need to spend 30$ on just testing it. Now add some landing pages in the mix and you are over 35 to 40$ just for testing 1 offer. To get landing pages, you can either design them on your own, or you can buy AdPlexity, which is a Ad Spy Tool, but it costs +100$ per month, depending on what package you want to buy.

Of course you can find winning offers and landers with just 50$, but then you need to scale up fast, which again, requires a budget. And how do you know if a campaign performs well or it doesn't? Right, you need a tracker. Which again, requires money. Voluum starts at 69$ per month, but you can go for BeMob if you want a free tracker. But beware, it's not as great as Voluum and has less features that prevent fast scaling.

I could go on and on what you need to start Media Buying but instead i am just going to list you the stuff here and let you decide if you wanna do it:

  1. Host (To host your landing pages, don't even try to direct link to your offer, you might as well throw your money out of the window) - 10$, more or less if you are on a CDN, depending on how much volume you generate
  2. Tracker (Voluum, BeMob, Binom) (+50$)
  3. Domain (10$ - Might be more if your domain gets flagged by Google which can happen)
  4. AdPlexity (if you don't want to do manual work)
  5. Budget for Traffic Source (30-50$+)
What network will accept a deposit of only $50?
PopCash, PopAds (but they are only for pop-ups, pop unders, tab under etc.)

What amount of money would you suggest I actually start with?
500-2000$ (which you are actually willing to lose)

How did you guys learn this?
Testing offers and losing money along the way while keeping your head cool and don't get emotional while doing it. It's no fun running a offer for 20 minutes in france just to realize that you just lost 70$ because of a mistake in your flow, but this is part of media buying.

How do you suggest I learn this?
Throw yourself in the field when you have the money. Don't stop when you see the first loss and don't get emotional with this or you can lose your shirt.

I don't do Adult Media Buying but i assume that RevShare might be down but offers like SOI DOI Pay Per Lead would be higher as the user doesn't have to pay for anything to sign up.

Thanks for the reply. After getting Adplexity would I still need a landing page builder like click funnels. Could I search for the successful landing pages for an offer with just my own affiliate link for that offer or would I need to already have the url to the exact landing page that I want to copy? What niche are you in if you dont mind me asking? What niche would you say has the smallest learning curve?

I am in Sweepstakes and CC Submits, i cannot recommend you any niche to start out with because they all have a learning curve that is pretty steep. I guess you could start out with Single Opt In Offers where the user only has to enter a eMail for you to get the lead. I would tend to avoid Niches like Nutra for starters or offers that require a PPS (PayPerSale) as you have to spend more money on testing those offers to determine if they are working or not.

If you have Adplexity you can search for landing pages on different traffic source networks and you can rip these landing pages (or download them in other words) - You don't need no landing page builder since you already got the landing page ripped from Adplexity, but what you have to do is go through the code of the landing page that you just ripped. Why? Well, affiliates that do media buying are not dumb, they know that there are Ad Spy Tools out there that have their landing pages listed for download, so they plant nasty redirects in their lander. So that means you have to go through the landing page that you just downloaded and check for broken links, sneaky redirects and other stuff to make the LP look presentable to the user.

Do you think sweepstakes offers would work well on adult traffic. What traffic source would you suggest if I was to do SOI sweepstakes offers.

Yes cause you need spesific formula to success on your niche, and your condition. Otherway is if you have big capital, buy a decent profitable site, and then learn how the site profit, ask the seller to guide you. Then you can also learn

Probably not, people that watch porn usually don't want to get disturbed with free iPhone Offers, they just want a quick fap lol. Plus, they are used to Pop Ups so they usually click it away.

Please don't start with a $50 budget. Always invest what you can afford to lose.
Your best bet is to find a "menthor" that helps you for free.

Mediabuying is easy staff when you have skills of analytics and statistics. Make sure to learn A/B tests knowledge at the beginning and meet yourself with significant testing. When you will mostlikely understand that for own low budgets in a pocket you should start from low-payout offers which are easy to get as a conversion on website. With 50 dollars you should keep your targeting settings as tight as possible in order to get some stats. Also you should start from countries which are not expensive for cpm

if you have a mentor that have lots of experience and shares with you then yes. If not learn the hard way by making mistakes

Try offers like sweepstakes in 3rd tier geos. (Lower payouts, lower budget required)
