How to begin with SaaS?

Hello Guys,

i have an SaaS idea. I am not the best programmer but i don't want ro program it anyway.

I need a developer for
-Machine Learning
-frontend
-backend
-another artificial intelligence developer (could be the samw as ML Developer)
-kubernetes/openstack admin

I want to manage all Of them and how should i approach them?
I have trust issues with people i dont know its about money you know.

Hard find good coders, especialy when you dont have coding background.
Best way you find the stack which you need and join some boards.

On freelancer i had the last days only problem with them. Now have 500 usd there as balance cause 4 from 4 people couldnt deliver. MAKE SURE THE MILESTONES ARE 100% clear.

I am real bad at coding BUT looks iam better then the guys there. On UPwork i had some luck, but best way are boards, twitter ect.

After few years in these field i have gained some good friendships with awesome devs.

That doesnt make any sense, a very small percentage of people would work without an upfront payment.. coders who know their shit demand up to %50 of the payment upfront. I usually ask for 25% and then split the rest in milestones.

OP, you could use Upwork but only if you have enough money to hire US freelancers. Join some discord servers for programming to find people, im in a one where they have a channel for clients to post their jobs.

Whatever you do, make sure to use non-disclosure agreements before even talking about your idea to developers.

I wouldn't touch anything without 50% payment and I use to charge £80 ph and 5k+ jobs only many do 3k + only.

your asking for a dev with that project not easy as you think.

ai is the most expensive work now days

you only get what you can afford.

if you need updates as many apps do, your need to also pay a subscription price for updating an application around 2.5k per month on contract over 12 months.

ai programmers don't need to scam money there normal jobs are 10k to 100k per job over 3 months, money no issue .

you can use a programming agency if scared but they expect full payment after consultation.

Money isn't the factor. I calculated everything. I only have experience with dev teams that are nearby so we can meet and talk.

That's unusual for BHW lol, usually people expect to get programmers for like $10 an hour. Also make sure your idea is possible and realistic, as AI can't do everything, even these days.

Dear OP,
Although by telling you this, I'm hurting the freelancer's market. The thing is programmers especially the ones with more experience under their belts, are usually very money-hungry machines that convert your idea and some coffee to a working product. These types of people, including me, will charge much higher prices when you're in need; therefore, for a long term project like yours, having an NDA contract isn't enough.
Most of the time, the growth of programmers has a reverse relationship with their care for others. If a programmer is nice to you today, it doesn't mean that he isn't planning to do something against your company to increase his profit.
By basing this statement on above mentioned small facts, I kindly ask you to do your due diligence and avoid outsourcing as much as possible.
If by any chance, you're still looking to outsource this section, try finding a trusted programmer of yours or a software development consulting agency to do code-reviews after each milestone. This makes the programmer design the system's core architecture better and reduces the number of headaches down the road.
And about the prepayments, each programmer has his / her numbers, but usually, programmers do ask for at least 30% or the contract beforehand, and it's better to do the paperwork first.
Finally, I'm strongly against outsourcing long-term projects and try finding the right person to work for or work with you.

I already now ML AI but not as good to make everything myself. I have one dev but I want to build a team since he also said that this project is huge af.


I am currently even thinking about employing them. Giving them a salary etc.
