Hello BHW,
Its Terry here & i wanted a few things worked out on my store + threads.

This user named: jiftech Contacted me and said he could do this within 7 days & make it super professional which i was really pumped about so i asked a friend to help me communicate as he was from PAKISTAN & he did contact him and did his part and all. Now the seller took more than 10 days & FULL PAYMENT FOR Making a crap site.

When i saw they are doing literally nothing for days i asked my friend to get an update which was resulted in nothing but an excuse. So i again waited and after 11 days of wait and 300$ in payment i am here with NO money NO website and threat's about they are in the market for this and that which i can't really bear.

When i approached the guys about this they have BLAMED me for changing password and removing everything which was really fucked up. I tried to ask them nicely and requested them they have surpassed all the timeline and also there is nothing done on the site and yet they want to do this and attempt a scam......

Anyhow i'll keep it short and brief.

After this point, My friend who helped me got in and gave them instructions which i was giving him but after 11 days he did not do literally anything and when i asked him about the refund as he was not doing anything he refused and denied anything and everything....

I wanted to make it straight and i even paid his invoice after 3 days of negotiation. I won't start a chargeback until the staff resolves this but i do have the right to do so and trust me he have nothing to show for it.

The password has been changed and he is saying I changed it while i was just waiting for him to complete and after all this they have done this.

I urge administration & moderator's to simply keep them out of the market as they are just scamming people and doing things that a 1 week old learner can do for such high price.

They have no idea how to sell and how to even make a website if they would have they had their chance and according to their own timeline the work started on 1st March 2020 & the payment was Completed on 2nd March 2020.

Today is 14th March 2020 and there is nothing to show for.
Reuqesting a ban for them to try & scam me......

I requested a password change from my host and hopefully i will have it back in a few hours or so but this is super unproffesional and they are claiming they can simply turn it against me and according to them THEY WILL NOT do anything and still keep the money.

1. @TerryPrince opens a hire a freelancer thread for a thread designer/web designer.
   
2. @jiftech contacts @TerryPrince over Whatsapp to offer his services.
3. A 3rd party gets involved.
4. The website supposedly wasn't up to the standards of the buyer.
5. Both of you accused each other of deleting the site and changing the cPanel passwords and you're both denying that you did this. For clarification, you only need access to the cPanel to change the password. When you change the password on cPanel, it ends the current session; you don't need email access to do this, although an email alert is sent out (I also tested this on one of my own websites a moment ago just to be sure). Whoever has access to the email address should be able to change this back.
6. This shit list was created.

From what I understand, the key problem here is that someone changed the password and deleted the website, but both of you are accusing the other. Meanwhile, there's a 3rd party who got involved in the process and complicated this even further. Now, I don't speak Hindi and anglicised Hindi isn't exactly the easiest to translate using Google Translate (also, we all know how unreliable Google Translate can be). However, from what I could gather, the 3rd party wanted you to backup the website because he was moving the site to the previous host(?). Apparently, some things were missing (from the site?), and he deleted the website from the main host. If that translation is correct, it seems the 3rd party is responsible for at least moving the website.

@jiftech, as a web designer, I imagine you must have a locally-stored backup of the website for these situations? Do you think you could use a subdomain and your own hosting to temporarily host this website so that I can compare it to what was requested?

@TerryPrince, I can see from the invoice I removed from the thread that you also ordered two thread designs and a banner in the same $300 invoice ($200 for the website, $85 for the thread graphic, and I presume $15 for the banner). Did you ever receive the banner and the sales graphic?

It looks like there's a lot of miscommunication between you two. @jiftech doesn't have so much as a warning on the forum despite being fairly active here since 2013 and @TerryPrince has stayed clean on the forum since last year. The impression I have so far is that neither of you are actually trying to scam the other here, but I do want to help both of you reach an amicable solution.

Honestly I didn't know for changing the password you only need cpanel access, I made what his friend asked he provide me only product details and Theme. Yes I have backup of the website please find the link below.

First of all let me clarify the grounds of my claim!

The user was susposed to Get HALF payment upfront which I offered and was not asked of me just to show how serious i am. Even after my instructions they did NOT let me pay Partial payment and i had to make full payment.
Secondly i was given a timeline of 1 WEEK which is clearly mentioned yet they had NOT updated the site until after 9 days. Which is the very point they lost their right of continuing the work.
Thirdly they were susposed to DESIGN/Devolpe a Website from THIER offering. If i needed a theme installed and customized i would have posted about it which again he(PAKI Guy) Talked me out of & said i should used Porto and i shared the Genuine Information of the Theme i purchased. After handing over the instructions to them via paki guy they just made the very basic changes + doing shitty work which made me angry about paying 300$ for such a low class and unbearable work. But then again what more should i be expecting.

Then came the part where they added the logo and again started being greedy and the guy started asking me for more money & at that point i made my mind that after so many days of just minor changes & no seriousness i had to take a step and i asked him for a refund which he started denying and said Jiftech has worked and all. I went mad and we had some angry conversation after that point i was 100% sure i have to get a full refund on multiple basis of irresponsible behavior and unprofessional attitude.

All and All they think i am the Pakistani guy and whatnot, I used his service to exchange my paypal funds for btc for a specific % and it went good which is why i asked him for his help and posting voice notes publicly show's what kind of sick mentality you people are. You're third class for a reason and no doubt you're the 2nd worst nation on the whole planet.

The website supposedly wasn't up to the standards of the buyer = They did NOTHING until Day 8 after that point i kept asking and they made a low class & worst kind of homepage which a 1st year student could make without any help other than google, This clearly show's their intention of dragging it for as long as possible to make sure it get's into a dispute so they can claim they worked and get the MONEY without doing anything. They could simply not produce anything at all but customzing a theme with their claim to have a FULL TEAM shouldn't have been an issue.

Whoever has access to the email address should be able to change this back = I verified it with the host and password was changed but they couldn't provide with an IP as it was being accessed by multiple users.

I received no such thing as ANYTHING. I am willing to share my website details in a private convo and we can take it from there, They can show a full website as they CLAIM it to be ready!

They publicly DUMPS my data, Confidential information & let everyone leech and i am sure atleast a 100 people must've downloaded it all.....

Do you even know how to do this whole thing my wild guess is he's just making money off people from being a MIDDLEMAN.

Anyhow let's stick to the original conversation as per my requirements & his proposed idea.

I need a FULLY DESIGNED & Developed with 80+ products listed & all payment method's API's completed.

Also the Thread design's & ANIMATED banner will be MADE after my shop is finished & I WOULD LIKE TO BE VERY CLEAR HERE. I WILL NOT USE PORTO On my website now, They have to design a theme for wordpress which is what they are PAID for in FULL.

I would like to confirm FULL Timeline, Required information from my end & any further information that needs to be cleared so we don't make anymore arguments.

What these fools have done is unforgivable as it ruined the reputation of my shop even before it went live.

As a heads up for everyone, my internet connection is really bad at the moment and keeps cutting out, so I won't be very responsive on the forum for the time being.


To address a few things from what I was able to see:

-As the graphic design portion of the service was not delivered, TerryPrince should be refunded $100 to start.

-I'll need to go over the website that was delivered and compare it against what was agreed upon and advertised in the sales thread. Of course, I won't be able to do this until my internet connection becomes stable again.

-Comments against anyone's class, race, nationality, etc are against the rules and will not be tolerated. TerryPrince, this is the only verbal warning you will receive on this matter.



My apologies if I got anything wrong, I typed this up on a notepad based on the bits of the last two messages I could see.

@jiftech, I needed you to upload the site to a host, not send me the backup file (but thank you proving that you have the backup file). I unfortunately don't have resources to spare for both the shit list section and the marketplace.

Also @jiftech, did you perhaps create a contract at any point that goes over the full scope of the work provided by Irfan (in English)? If you did, please send that over to me via PM. If you're not using contracts, I suggest that you start doing that to prevent these kinds of issues. This does verify what i have been saying:

When he had to take the project he kept it for 7 days and now its double that. Making it SURE he's just a time waster + he's messing with everything i have been trying to do with my website & timeline.

He has to stick to original promise or refund. Also I would like him to be SPECIFICALLY SURE what does "COMPLETE INFORMATION" Means....
