I AM NOT A SHOPIFY EXPERT, I HAVE DONE IT FOR 2 MONTHS AND THAT WAS MY FIRST ATTEMPT GOT TOTAL OF 7K IN SALES AND 1.7K IN PROFIT. I KNOW SOME PEOPLE HERE ARE KILLING IT.
I AM NOT DOING DROPSHIPPING ANYMORE
Hey bros,
Recently I have seen some people asking some Shopify dropshipping questions so today I decided to post things that I have learned during my short Shopify journey
Store Design - If your store is ugly then that's it you are not going to make sales. Create professional stores and that should be clean with a proper call to actions and trust badges at checkout. Hire someone if you are bad at designing. You can also copy the already successful stores that you can find by the methods that I have told below.
Product selection -
I will give you my two methods and maybe many of you already know that
1 - Use Facebook search box and try ‘Your Keyword’ + ‘free shipping’ like - ‘Best dog collars’ + ‘free shipping’ at the place of free shipping you can also try 50% Off or something that people usually use in their ad copies.
Now check posts and videos that have got the most engagement. In this way you can find many of your competitor's stores and also check their best selling products with the tool that I am going to show you in the second method.
2 - Go to the Shopify app store and in the categories choose Finances > Accounting.
Find the app that is at least 30+ / month and then scroll down to the reviews of the app
Copy the usernames of the reviewers and google the and boom you find a store " THAT IS PAYING 30+ BUCKS A MONTH FOR MAINTAINING THEIR ACCOUNTS !!" which means they are making money.
Now install this exten - https://chrome.google.com/webstore/...tor/kefmekfmfacbdefimlancoccpocmgmpb?hl=en-US
Go to the shop that you found, click on the extension, click on products inside the extension and then click on the best selling
boom! we got their best selling products.
Marketing -
Before starting the paid ads try to optimize your store for search traffic. Write good and heavy content in the product descriptions. Do keyword research for your products.
Like this one, it has like super low competition. There are many detailed threads in this forum about improving SEO I am just saying do that with our store.
Email Marketing - Always try to get your visitor's email and create a good Abandoned cart email sequence. Go to some stores in your niche and do an abandoned cart and check what kind of mail they sent you.
Paid traffic - I have mainly used FB ads back then and I don't have any secrete strategy for that. I have tested 5 products for 3 days with 5 bucks a day budget on purchase conversion and got 2 sales for a product then I just have tried all the interests for that product and just increased my budget and that's all. Try LLAs after at least 100 sales. Try to start your retargeting campaigns as soon as possible.
That's all I have learned in my two months before my payment processor closed my account and hold all my money and also my partner left after that incident so I closed my store. Maybe in future, I will partner with someone and start it again.
Thanks.
